Our vet told us that our dog had low B 12 and recommended these drops to add to her food daily. After several months her numbers improved. She seemed to like the flavor on her food, and although a picky eater, she would eat it.

We have a semi-feral cat that was diagnosed with a B12 deficiency, after having her first bout with pancreatitis. We knew taking her to the vet each month for an injection of B12 would be stressful for her and a real battle for us. However, we also knew SHE ABSOLUTELY HAD to get more B12 in her system. Since she’s semi-feral, we knew the only way to consistently give her B12 (without struggling to get her to our vet’s), was to add it to her food. However, since she’s also a picky eater, we were afraid she’d turn her nose up at this B12 product due to its bacon-like smell (as noted by some reviewers). However, since this product had been certified the National Animal Supplement Council Seal (per another site), we decided to give it a try it. We were so glad we did, as we felt reassured by its NASC certification and our kitty readily ingested it. It’s so nice to know that our beloved kitty is getting the B12 she needs, so she can have a long, healthy, and happy life!!! October, 2023 Update: We wanted to ensure this product was providing our cat the amount of B12 her body needed, so we had our vet test for her B12 level. We were thrilled to learn that she had been getting the amount of B12 she needed - she's been doing great!!!!

Ives used this liquid B12 for my Golden Girl for years. I’ve adjusted the doses per results of blood draw yearly! Great product. Easy to put in food! She’s almost 10 but looks like 5-6! 🐶👍🏻

My Bella doesn't mind the taste. It's a definite for after your pups get spade.

My senior cat had some massive issues going on that gave him diarrhea & he required a diet change. I seem to have figured out that grains or carrageenan were the cause & by eliminating it, his diarrhea went away. BUT he was left in very poor shape. As it turns out, many cats with IBD issues seem to have a hard time absorbing B12, so I thought I’d give this a shot. Some people say they need to have the dose by needle, but my research suggests they just need a daily oral dose & that it needs to build up in their system, so no skipping days. Research said it takes 8 weeks to build up & become effective but just under a week in & I swear I’m seeing improvement in his energy & temperament. I have also noticed that his poops are even better & actually smell less. My guess is that he wasn’t breaking his food down correctly & not getting his needed vitamins. B12 was probably being urinated out. I promise to come back and update about its effectiveness, as I know we all love our cats & sharing info helps. I didn’t experience an issue with the dropper like some reviews stated. It’s a big bottle, so overall it’s not expensive when you break down the daily cost. He does seem to love the taste! It smells like bacon & I just mush it right into his wet food and he gobbles it up. You can’t really go wrong with B12, because they’ll just pee out any excess, so it’s a safe try! Edit 1: When my cat seemed all better and the bottle was finished, I discontinued the use. I really do think he had a B12 deficiency & I think this snapped him back to normality. Edit 2: I’m putting him back on the B12. I’ll update.
