Mole Killer Worm Bait, 10 Count (Pack of 4)

The active ingredient in these worms (and the original Talpirid worms) works and is the only effective bait I have found in 40 years of dealing with moles in my yard.I appreciate the Tomcat price being lower than Talpirid, but it is still an expensive remedy.Until recently, the worms were all well formed within their tray molds. However, the last order of four boxes contained several trays with either very thin worms or worms that appear to have run to one end of the mold and overflowed. The quality of the product should be checked by Tomcat.I hope Tomcat completely changes their packaging. The waste is awful. I tend to buy 40 worms (4 boxes). I immediately open all of the cardboard boxes, remove the styrofoam inserts, and set the plastic tray packet bags aside. I then repack the bags into ONE of the cardboard boxes. Almost all 40 worms (20 bags) will fit in ONE box.My four star rating is based on the wasteful packaging and the recent condition of the worms in the trays.

Seems to be working

I have tried every solution out there and this is the only thing that has ever worked for me. Don’t waste your money on anything else like I did.4 stars for packaging. The waste is BEYOND and styrofoam is ridiculous. As a company save yourself some money, get rid of the styrofoam and go to smaller boxes. Less for you to purchase and pay to ship.

Several months ago I was shopping at the local home improvement store for mole control products. Ran into a retired exterminator and he highly recommended this solution. I’ve tried about everything on the market from traps to kill products with very little success. After using this product I’ve. Early eliminated all moles from my yard excluding new incursions from the neighbors which I quickly address. Trick is to use gloves when handling so as not to contaminate the scent and only bait active tunnels. Not cheap but worth every penny, I keep a few boxes on hand to treat new tunnels.

These are not cheap, and you may need to place several. I poke these in the runs pretty much as the instructions suggest. Cover up or block the holes and wait. The tunnels usually stop spreading within a couple days. If not, place a couple more bait worms and wait again. I am not in favor of going straight to poison and chemicals for everything, but for some reason - I try and try but have not had as much luck with traps as others have so these are my go to solution.
