Best Rollers on the planet!
These rollers really are the best! The smooth finish and snug fit of the clip are great features. Definitely my favorite style. To create texture, I bought them in three different sizes. Bonus: they're affordable and durable!I've tried lots of different kinds of rollers, varieties and results as follows:VELCRO - HORRIBLE, I have fine long hair and it took (seriously) 2 hours for me to get them out of without ripping my hair out of my head !SPONGE - fasteners come loose and they don't give a consistent controlled curl.TOOTH SNAP ROLLERS - leave ugly kinks.SPIRAL - Great in theory but when they are bent they become bulky and make it hard to put it evenly I bought them to create a spiral curl and the results were unsatisfactory.BOTTOM LINE: Buy these Diane Snap-On Rollers and forget the rest - you'll be glad you did!

Great Hair Rollers!!
Great rollers at a great price. They gave me my curls back. These are just like the ones I used to have a long long time ago, but, not quite as tough. Still, they are great to have again. I do recommend these (5 Stars) I purchased a few packs of them and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a nice simple hair roller.

Holds in place, smooth curl, takes practice, long drying time
They are called "magnetic" because damp hair clings to the smooth plastic. These are my go-to for my 1950s vintage hairstyle. This size is perfect for most of my hair except the shortest around the nape of my neck. I like that I get very smooth, glossy curls with these. I like that the cover holds it in place if you snap it on very close to the root. Snap-on rollers will leave a dent so I use pin curl clips for the rollers at my hair part. It is a little tricky to get the tension right and keep the ends tidy. I usually use a rat tail comb to smoothly tuck the ends in or use end papers. For curls that last 3-5 days I use diluted setting lotion in a foaming hand soap dispenser and apply a little to each curl and comb through before rolling. I also finish with a strong hairspray once dry and styled. Make sections no bigger than the roller, even thinner sections for very dense hair or hair longer than chin-length. Once it is dry, unroll the curl rather than pulling the roller through. I do not recommend this size for hair longer than shoulder length. Also, don't try to sleep on these unless you only use them on the crown of the head. The plastic is very hard. Use pin curls, pillow rollers, or rags instead. The biggest drawback of the magnetic rollers is that they don't dry very quickly. There aren't many vents. I need at least 3 hours to air dry. If you need it to dry in less time, use a blow dryer on high speed and medium heat with a bonnet attachment or low speed and high heat for hand held drying. Wait until cool before unrolling. Carefully unwind one of the last ones you put in to check that the ends of the curl is fully dry. If it isn't, you have to wind it back on the roller and dry for longer. Make the curls last days by sleeping with a double-layer genuine silk bonnet. You can even try putting square sections of the dry hair into medium pin curls and secure with bobby pins or hair pins. I do this for the curls closest to my face and the right behind the ears. In the morning, after a quick brush and a spritz of hairspray my hairstyle is nearly identical to the previous day. Finally, these are also great for styling wigs.

Easy to use and works like a charm
Used it on my hair instead of using a curling iron every day

Thick plastic with some bumps
Magnetic rollers have been my go to for years. These are usually the best but the packs I received had irregular bumps and one that had this small knife like piece which stuck out and snagged my hair. The product is good but the one I received had no quality control.

Great rollers
I really like how these work for my fine hair. My hair gets caught into velcro ones too easily. These are great though. It's taking me a bit to get the right angle so the holder part doesn't cause a ridge, but I do love how easily they work. I might buy more.

Slippery
I was looking for a roller that a pin would go through so I bought these because of the holes they have. My hair wouldn’t stay in the roller because of the plastic they’re made from. Still looking for the perfect solution.
