Impressive monitor with few downsides.
Picked a couple of these up on sale to replace an old ultrawide set of monitors that started to die.The picture quality/performance on these is impressive, easily worth the price. The software that comes with the monitors is...less so. For example, you can control the LED lighting on your monitors using the software...ONE of the monitors at least. The software currently doesn't support control of more than one monitor, and in fact will *disable* control of the lighting if you have more than one monitor plugged in.You can find a third-party software that lets you control the lights on both monitors, but you shouldn't need to. May not sound like a huge issue, but if you're dropping this much cash on something you expect the software that comes with it to...well, work.

Not bad so far
I've been using this for a few months now and the monitor is fine, not the greatest but it's okay, only problem I see with it besides sunlight not allowing you to see the monitor clearly, (regular light in the house is fine) The only problem is once in awhile you have to turn off the monitor and turn it back on because they'll be a weird cut in the middle of the screen that makes you think your screen's screwed but once you restart the monitor everything goes away, this doesn't happen often I believe it only happened to me five or seven times throughout the 6 months of owning it, I believe this problem occurs when You're changing the resolution of your screen on the computer for a game and it glitches out for a second but I'm not too certain

Defective Unit/Quality Control Issue or Damage due to delivery?
The media could not be loaded. Now, this is the best monitor for me. The specs are amazing, fast IPS, 4K, 144hz, HDMI 2.1, Veda HRD600, 27". EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MONITOR IS PERFECT! But my monitor was a defective unit which had a vertical line of dead pixels on the right side. This could be from damage from delivery or due to quality control issues from LC.I got this monitor (brand new condition) for $749 on a deal on Amazon. I am not paying $800+ with taxes on a defective monitor. I am returning this product. If they offer a reduced price or $749 (the same initial price I bought it for) then I'll repurchase it. Hopefully, the next time it will not be a defective unit.Be AWARE of the quality control issues or the damage that can occur to the monitor from delivery. My review is also to create proof and evidence of my case. Have a great day everyone and I hope this helped your buying decision. This is a great monitor and go for it if you have the $$$.

Great balance for work and gaming
I got this monitor, because I wanted something to use for work and some occasional gaming. I have a 2018 Intel MacBook Pro and a 2019 HP Omen (i7-8750H, RTX 2060 6GB).The LG 27GP95R works great using a USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable connected to the MacBook Pro, which supports running at 4K@95Hz through a Razer Chroma dock. macOS is able to scale everything to "look like 1440p", but with the additional sharpness of 4K. Colors look good and text is sharp. My gaming laptop has a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort, so I can use the same cable to run at 4K 144hz. It's a slightly older computer though, so I have to run games at 1080p, but they still look great. 1080p scales evenly into 4K, so I find that the graphics still look good.Since the 27GP95R is a regular LCD panel, colors aren't going to be nearly as vibrant as OLED or miniLED monitors, but everything still looks much nicer and crisper when compared to a generic office monitor. The viewing angles are good, text looks sharp, and the high refresh rate is amazing for gaming.

4K is AMAZING in todays games đ
So I want to start with my rating... I bought a used LIKE NEW monitor from the Amazon warehouse, and received a horribly packaged product that wasn't even the correct model number. I got the GN instead of the GP lul.Despite my lower rating, the picture quality of this monitor is phenomenal. I've always only used 1440p and 1080p displays, but after using a 4k tv I've noticed how games of today just don't look good below 4k. Games today use very dull/blurry anti aliasing methods that completely ruin the clarity that 1440p used to give and now 4k is needed to get the intended visuals for the game. So 4k is great, but how is the brightness, color, response times ect. The monitor is SDR is more then bright enough for everything I played. lights, explosion and the real scene contrast is great and you won't feel wanting, I think. The monitor can not produce good blacks and generally anything with black bars will be kinda distracting, but as long as the whole screen is being filled, you wone have a problem with the contrast. Using the monitor in its default gamer 1 preset, the color was PERFECT, not one adjustment was needed, no color push, whites looked white, and colors weren't dull or over saturated. The refresh rate paired with the fast mode response time gave me a very fluid and clear experience. I come from higher refresh rate panels, so I would like 240hz, but this is 4k and 160 is much more realistic to reach in competitive games. I didn't notice any bad overshoot and in motion, ghosting is almost not perceivable. As a more competitive gamer, it was hard to convince myself to try this monitor... but after seeing the clarity that I've been missing for so many years, I don't think I can go back. Can't wait to buy a new Gpu every year đ
