This whole piece biltong is awesome.

Packaged way to wet and had mold growing on it.

I bought this product after reading some reviews that state that its a softer more moist jerky. And that pretty much nails it. It slices easy and was a great addition to my Charcuterie board. Someone said it was over seasoned and had too strong of a garlic flavor but I found the garlic to be so mild as to be barely noticeable ... but I am heavy handed in my seasonings.

My wife and I really loved the original flavor of Made By True Biltong, so we thought we would give the "Garlic and Herb" a try. It did not disappoint. Like the original, it is a very moist, very flavorful piece of beef. The extra flavorings of the garlic and herb spices were subtle and not overpowering. My wife, who has very picky tastes in meat products (she grew up vegetarian and still has an aversion to some meat), could not get enough. She ate more the 3/4ths of the slab and I had to fight for the scraps. Definitely make sure you cut it into smaller pieces, as directed, and it makes a huge difference in the eating experience. My only objection was the price, but after looking for other "grass-fed" biltongs, this was the cheapest I came across. Once you actually have it in your hands, you'll realize it is a very substantial amount of beef. If you like jerkys, biltong and other dried meats, treat yourself. You will not be disappointed.

I bought this and won’t buy regular jerky ever again the way the meat cuts and looks marbled after is satisfying.

The product itself is good, however, the packaging is terrible. I have bought two, on neither does the resealable strip work. It is not even close - it might as well not exist. Keeping this product sealed to stay moist is huge, so be prepared to keep it in another type of container.

Very cool concept, but something isn’t right with the flavor… Not sure what is up with the spices… It tastes off. I decided to cover it in cracked black pepper and garlic powder to make it taste a little better.
