At 83 my mother is doing quite well, but every time she tries to sit down to urinate, she squirts urine of which this is helpful in catching it along with any partial incontinence getting out of the chair trying to get to the toilet. We are very happy with the absorption and the size. I highly recommend these, but get the size and the level of absorption that you need for your own family member.
