The media could not be loaded. I used this transformer and other random house hold items to make a 6 foot 15kv spark gap or Jacobs ladder for a apprentice electrician class project. It’s important to note that the G.F.C.I or ground fault circuit inturupter will only trip when a hot to ground fault happens. When shorting the two hots getting the full 15,000 volts no ground fault occurs so no gfci trips this is a short circuit that’s limited to the input current only about 4amps not tripping your fuse or circuit breaker. If you don’t want the full voltage going from one hot leg to ground you’d get 7,500v and this would cause the gfci to trip. One amazing feature of this transformer is the 30min gfci lookout. Simply push the button once tripped and for 30 min you can ground out the secondary side all you want.10/10 would buy againNext I’m going to use this transformer to make a Tesla Coil!!DANGER!!High voltage will kill! Didn't fix the problem

Why am I getting charged a restocking fee, the transformer did not work I purchased another one, Didn't any one read the reason for the return. How many times are the going to sell this and charge a restocking fee

I haven't done enough testing to find any faults. I've run a few spark gap experiments and it's held up so far. Much more powerful than the smaller switching power supplies out there.

Transformer works great, its larger than i needed so im not loading it 100%. Im doing wood burning with it.
