Got me through welding class
Fits securely on my face as well as under my welding hood (Esab A60). Able to work up close with my projects using 1/8” 7018 rods. My booth had decent ventilation, but without this ventilator, I could still get smell that burnt flux. With the respirator…smoke from flux didn’t bother me at all.

Works great with my welding helmet
Works great with my welding helmet. Love it. Comfortable and no more coughing haven't had to use my inhaler anymore after welding.

works well and fits comforably under a welding helmet
Not had any problems with this - the straps are a little difficult to use, but otherwise ok

Excellent welding respirator, 9/10.
As a welder for 6 years already, I have been looking for a way to protect my lungs from harmful emotions while on the job, and nothing comes close to this product, compact enough to use with most welding helmets, efficient, and at good price. I recommend it, only downside will be if you have to use thick glasses or goggles with it, there will be some nagging from the headband, but can work around with thinner glasses.

Doesn’t work for VOCs in oil-based primer
I own my own painting business and decided to invest in a respirator for when I have to work with primers and chemicals with high VOCs. I read that I needed a p100 filter, so I got this one.Long story short, I used this respirator for the first time a few days ago for the the ENTIRE time I primed a house with an oil based primer. I did notice I could smell the fumes, but they didn’t seem as strong as it was without the respirator. I’ve never used one prior to this, so I wasn’t exactly sure how well it should filter smells. Well, fast forward about 3 hours with ventilation and breaks outside, I was HIGH AS A KITE! Things were moving in slow motion, I felt dizzy and faint, and I had to leave the job site and explain to the homeowner why I had to leave early! She of course understood and we giggled about it, but by the time I realized I was feeling funny, it was too late. It was literally all I could do to quickly clean up my supplies, warn the client not to go inside and stay for any length of time (she wasn’t living there), and take a breather outside before going home. I had a headache for the rest of the day. I know the filters were assembled correctly (my husband even double checked it)—but they were a pain to attach, as others have mentioned. This just didn’t work at all for me, so now I’m irritated because I’ll need to get one that actually works now.

Perfect fit
Fits really well under your welding hood. It works really good for stick welding and Fluxcore using .72 wire that proceeds a lot of fumes.

Instructions are horrible
Good particulate filter for welding and grinding. My main issue is with the very bad instructions.Without Youtube it was nigh impossible to apply the filters. Others who say it is comfortable? Not a snow balls chance in.... well you know. I find it difficult to breath after 5-10 min. It is hot and uncomfortable to use. 15 min and I was sounding like Darth Vader running from the Predator. You can wear glasses with this rig. But, it is a PITA when putting this on or pulling off.Still recommend this for breathing safety. Didn't have the usual crude out of my nostrils after a welding session.
