No sure what you are asking here, but yes there are some seeds and seed shells that fall through the cage and onto the ground as birds feed from the cake.

On the cover picture, it says "6 pack." do you really get 6 seed cales?

Is this for the large size suet holder (about 8" x 8" square)?

yes, this is 2 pounds worth of seeds and it about 8x8 inch, you would need the larger cage to fit this, not the normal small suet cake ones.
