Stopped working after only less than one month.

I am so thankful! We bought a used laptop from a friend over a year ago. I had planned to set it up for my dad, but I got side tracked. Finally, when my dad's desktop died, I had to pull out our new purchase and get the laptop all set-up, so he could use it!!! We eventually bought him a new desktop. When my laptop was stolen and the laptop saved the day again. Unfortunately, last month the power cord that came with it died. Why am I telling you this? Because I had no idea what kind of cord to buy and I realized in my hunt that neither do some other folks!!! I tried buying the cord that was supposed to fit my laptop, and it didn't fit at all. It wouldn't stay plugged into my laptop!!!So, I looked at the voltage on the old cord (18.5 volts), the connector type (mine is a 3 prong) and the end that plugs into the laptop (I eventually realized that the correct end is 4.8mm x 1.7mm.) And yes, I tried measuring it!!!After many searches and 2 or 3 other purchases, I found this laptop cord, and bought it. It arrived today and it works perfectly. I am so pleased!!! I would almost buy another one of these, but I can't use them both at the same time.The item that I am reviewing is a 18.5Volt 65W AC Laptop Power Cord. If your laptop needs a 4.8mm x 1.7mm connector and you need a 18.5 volt laptop power/charging cord, then this is the laptop power cord for you. Don't be fooled! The laptop power cord that I bought with the 5.5mm x 1.7mm connector fit and charged my laptop quite well, but it created static interference in my speakers every time I tried to listen to a video, play a how-to, or listen to my radio.I am so thankful that I bought my "NEW" Laptop and found this power/charging cord to replace the one that died!!!GREAT LAPTOP AC ADAPTER POWER/CHARGING CORD!!!

This charging cable works perfectly and arrived quickly. I've ordered many replacement cables and I find many run hot, which may or may not mean anything bad, but I don't use them if they do. This one doesn't do that so I'm confident that it's working.

I bought this to charge a HP mini 311 laptop that I have I looked everywhere and nobody had it finally I found it on Amazon thank you Amazon it powered my device perfectly tight fitting plug with a pure 65 watt charge
