Matches are easy to light and seem to be pretty sturdy compared to other matches.

These little boxes are perfect and almost impossible to find in my local stores.

I never thought I would write a review for matches, but these kinda warranted one.They are rather small, similar to those old motel matches. The quality is rather poor and they burn very fast.Funny that they burn fast, because it takes a long time to light one, having to strike it at least five times.You get what you pay for

I got these because I had a ton of candles but only had old matches! I learned the hard way, in the last power outage, that old matches (like 10-15 yrs old or more) often do NOT light because either the striking plate is too old or worn out and you can't get good friction, or the match head itself is too old. Some of my match heads were partly crumbly! And even the ones that looked fine did not always light! I know you're thinking, how old is this chick? I won't be answering that one- ha ha! Just know that matches don't last forever, and they are relatively cheap to buy, so why take a chance on old matches in an emergency, and get some new ones you know will work when you need them?

I've been buying matches from Amazon for years and have bought this brand 4 different times. I've never had such a horrible experience of most packs(last 4packs) where the head either flies off without lighting or flies off & burns where the head lands. I've never had this problem before but the last 3 pkgs have all reacted like this. Scary & dangerous as they're burning when the head flies off or they just don't light. Really dangerous & I don't understand what the company has done. Everyone of the last 4 pks have reacted in the same manner & at least 10x the head flies off while lit and I've got a lit head flying wherever it wants to land. A fire waiting to happen.Yes some of the match sticks break but it's truly the head that's dangerous. I'll be getting the other pks, wetting them & throwing them away. I can only hope that others who bought these don't have the lit head flying off. Very dangerous. Guess I have to shop a different vendor. Please be careful...
