Strong case. Top part of case needs to adhere a little better

What keeps this case from being five stars is the upper piece does not connect in any way to the bottom piece or the carabiner. If for some reason it comes loose from the top of your Air Pods case, it will end up lost. Other cases we’ve purchased had some kind of connection piece to the bottom half, usually a hinge if metal or plastic or at the very least a creased area in the material that acted the same way as a hinge does. Based on the listing pics I wrongfully believed that the top and bottom pieces of this protective case were somehow connected even though it doesn’t state such in the listing, so that’s my fault. The potential loss problem was solved by placing a very thin, skinny piece of clear double-sided sticky tape inside. The tape is the kind that can be peeled off, washed , and reused as to avoid having to permanently attach the top case piece and original Air Pods case together. This protective case clicks snugly onto the Air Pods case, which makes the tape added insurance since my Pods get jostled around a good bit in my bag.The protective case itself is nicely made and not flimsy feeling. The carabiner is lightweight with a rather loose hinge, though. I worried the hinge would give out sooner rather than later, so I swapped it for a more robust clip. I like the blue color and rugged appearance the screws give this case. The wraparound silicone bumper should protect from bumps and falls. Overall, a nice protection option for a good price.

This is a solid, protective case for the AirPods Pro. It is sturdy and well made. The hard shell and rubberized bumper construction with the screw design is pretty slick as well. It fits my charging case snuggly like a glove. Once fitted, it is hard to remove since you'll have to use a pencil or something to push the charging case out from the charging port opening at the bottom.The protective case is compatible with wireless charging. No issues charging my AirPods Pro charging case wirelessly with the protective case on. It has a covered opening at the bottom in case you want to use a Lightning cable to charge.The only issue I have with this charging case is that there appears to be a tiny gap between the top and the bottom parts of the protective case. The charging case itself closes shut without any gap. Also, it is a bulky case, making it significantly larger to carry around in your jean pocket.The case also comes with a carabiner, albeit a cheap one, for attaching to your belt loop or backpack.Overall, I quite like this case. It is nice-looking, rugged and protective, keeping my charging case shielded against impacts and scratches. There are some minor issues with it but they don't really affect its function as a protective case. It gets the job done.

Solid and durable protective case for the AirPods Pro. In stark contrast to the earbuds and charging case, this black shell is very industrial looking and doesn't quite match the shiny white plastic that Apple has used since they introduced the AirPods in 2016. But whether you like the design of this case or not, it will protect your $200-$250 investment in Apple's flagship earbuds. While the AirPods 3 may be on the horizon, the Pros are still expected to maintain that spot until they get refresh (probably in 2022). I like that there is a flap to protect the lightning charging port, because dust and debris can really damage the internal pins and make wired charging harder or not work at all. Even though wireless charging is less popular, it is still the fast way to charge earbuds. And this case doesn't prevent wireless charging either, even though it is quite thick. I imagine that it might increase the amount of time needed to full recharge the AirPods Pro while on a wireless charger. I am not sure if the screws in the case are real or not, but they look like real metal, and it makes this product look more premium.

Update (added a star for the nice look and fit):This fits great on AirPod Pros. It looks like it would be a nice cover to take little hits if you were to drop them. But, if you are the type that likes variety and wants to change cases occasionally, just know that this case will fight you. It did NOT want to come off. I had to use a nail file to open the charging port cover flap and then use a pen to push the pod out of the case cover. Like this thing was designed to go on and never come back off again, lol.I assumed that this would fit one of my off brand sets that look almost identical in shape and size. I was wrong. It looks sturdy, though, for a protective carry case and comes with a little carabiner clip to attach to your belt loop, or bag.If you are looking for a decorative/protective case cover for earbuds with similar style of charging pod, I would recommend that you go with a silicone cover instead. Those are soft with some give in the material to fit the other brands, however, it still will be hit or miss on fit.

I give this case a 5/5 for durability and how strong the case is. It will definitely protect your airpods and the case from damage from everyday use. I got this for my dad to try out since he does house repairs and demo and he is often hard on his phone and personal electronics. So far, the case has held up great, it is very sturdy and definitely protects your items.However, changing the case is a nightmare. We tried to pop out the case and ended up having to use a knife to wedge it out, which of course damaged the original airpods case. It shouldn't be that hard or complicated to remove a case and that's a downside. Also, because of how thick the case the airpods case doesn't open the way it should.Lastly, we also tried this with an off brand case and had the same issues with fit.It's okay if you never plan to change your case... Otherwise not recommended.
