Easy to add Tie Down Points.
These tie down's or "D" rings, as they are often called, help secure light loads. I like the finish on the rings and their securing base plates. Compared to many I have purchased over the years, these are of better quality than most.Keep in mind, these are for light loads only. I would suggest through bolting the mounting plates and using either washers or some other backing plate system on the bottom side of the hardware mounting location, as the supplied wood screws will have limited holding capacity and depending upon the material where mounted, would likely be the weak point of the mount. For the price, these are some of the better light weight tie down points I have purchased over the years. They are handy to place on a trailer, etc. to provide additional load securing. Don't overload these tie downs and make sure to check the hardware over time as they are used.Respect the limits of these tie down points and they are a useful addition to other securing methods. The price and quality of these make them an excellent value, just use them as designed and rated and you will find them a helpful addition.I use these as temporary tie down points and position them where most effective. If you are using these for securing a load, you may consider through bolting these tie down points and even using reinforcement on the back side of the surface to which they are secured. The wood screws which come with these rings are adequate for small, lighter weight loads. If the loads are going to be near the tie down's rated load capacity, you should consider using a through the surface hardware with either a backing plate or washers on the bottom side of the hardware to help secure the rings.

Anchors look good; screws seem fine; think about noise
These anchors seem fine for my use, which is tying down a tarp over boxes and other articles in the truck bed for long trips. I've seen complaints about the screws in other reviews, but these screws worked well for me, except for two locations where the screws were not quite long enough to span a gap between my plastic bed liner and the metal bed. To install these, I drilled pilot holes with a bit that is narrower than the screws -- maybe 7/64". Then I put the screws through the bed liner and into the bed.One drawback I had not considered for these and other anchors is that they could be noisy. The thickness of the D-rings is less than the gap in the brackets, so the rings would rattle around if installed as shipped. I cut a piece of rubber tubing into small lengths that fit the straight sides of the D-rings. Then I slit the tubing so it would fit over the ring and screwed in the brackets with the tubing in place. This makes the D-ring snug so it won't rattle, but still movable for tying things to it.

Heavy enough
I was concerned about these not being heavy enough to hold down a motorcycle on a trailer. But they are good enough for tie down or ratchet straps. The screws they provide are good enough. So yeah if your looking for something to fasten to your trailer that will allow you to strap down a quad or 600 lb. motorcycle these work fine for that.
