These strips are great for wooden hangers. They are easy to apply and really do the trick!

I committed to using to using only wooden hangers a few years ago because I was sick of felt hangers snapping and plastic hangers tangling. I inadvertently bought 500 of them from a clothing boutique that was closing (I meant to buy 100, there was a bit of miscommunication but SO worth it) and now everyone in my home uses wooden hangers. My husband has a lot of safety vests and the girls in the house own a lot of slippery fabrics. I had no idea how much I needed these until I found one hanger out of the 500 that had them stuck on and I ran to Amazon to search "sticky hanger grippy strip thing" and found these. After a few months the adhesion is still good (it's 3M, usually pretty decent quality) and they have been aces for my sanity. You will not regret buying these! Oh, and "fins up" works better than "fins down" when applying to the hanger. So great!

Have had for several years. They work relatively well but some articles of clothing still slip. Better for t-shirts (providing not a wide neck-will slip off), cotton with sleeves. Find dresses slip off if not cotton. Work ok on crystal (clear) hangers. In theory the design should work and does overall. Going to try something else that may work for everything. I do not know if they work on the typical cheap hangers as I use only those with a rotating hook and are wider. If you use only wood, would not purchase as they are just not wide enough would could try to put two together and that might work.

I took a chance in picking this non slip hanger grips and found them very sturdy and easy to adhere to the wooden hanger. I have a lot of boat-neck tops that tend to fall of the hangers. My tops now stay on the hangers and I don't have to pick up tops that mysteriously gets lost on the closet floor.

Ok, I was sceptical; but I was pleasently surprised! Walmart plastic hangers never looked so good, or worked so good! Worth every penny. Still going strong!

These were great deal fit on my plastic white hangers and keep my sweaters and silk type clothing from slipping off.
