This wasn't the easiest thing to put together, but after reading the other reviews about switching ends for the two-sized rods, I got it done. The result is an extremely sturdy product that resulted in the first good night's sleep I've had in a long time! I recommend buying beach towel clips so your blankets don't slip off.

Horrible experience with this product. Pieces do not fit easily and I'm very handy and still could not put this piece of junk together. Poorly manufactured, seller should to be ashamed charging so much for a product that can't even be put together eaisly.

Parts not labeled.Extension that is not adjustable was a nightmare to fit together. Would not fit. Had to remove plastic stoppers and even then had to hammer into place.Would have returned but impossible to take apart to do so. Don't buy this! It was very difficult to assemble. Tolerances were too tight. I had to beat it together. It was so tight it took the paint off the tubes.

Solid product. Provides a nice clear space for the feet. Had used a flimsier one prior. This one is much better. Only caveat is that if you are turning the person or placing socks on it can get in the way a bit.

Like. Even at shortest level it's tall enough

This is a decent product, does what it is intended to do. The instructions are in fact terrible and had I not read the other reviews, I would've been very frustrated putting it together. So, if it doesn't seem to fit well or fit at all, the ends probably need to be switched.

This blanket lifter is great. It took me a very long time to find a single one that extended past 13" in length (from feet towards knees). I need the blankets to be off my knees, and 99% of them extend only 13" from the foot of the bed. This product extends 19", which is perfect for me.The only problem is: I became so focused on finding one that extended more than 13", I hadn't noticed this product does NOT seem to include the two clips to hold the blankets in place on the riser...at least I don't see a picture that includes them in the Description, and there certainly were no clips in the box. It's completely useless without a way to hold the blankets in place, unless I go out and buy some clips. So be aware before you order this.PS I was thankful to have read some of the reviews that mentioned the diameter of the sections are different but there's no mention in the directions. So, when mine didn't fit end-to-end, I reversed them and they fit

I had to use a rubber mallet to beat it together. Once together the holes didn’t line up sufficiently to make it a square unit. It sits cockeyed. It might still do the job but lacks severely in quality.

This item although had just a few parts it was horrible to put together . the parts did not fit together well and then trying to pull them apart took two people. which then scratch the paint. if I did not need this in a hurry I would have returned it.

Hex bolts and wing nuts did not fit. Had to purchase from local hardware store. Unit was useless without!
