I moved the battery from the engine compartment to the trunk in my 72 Datsun 510 so I had proper ends put on these cables and used them for the relocation. They work fine and MUCH less expensive than having 13' custom cables made!

Used ours to help a lady at a rest stop who had been waiting over an hour for someone to help at the rest stop or wait for her family help ( 2+ hours away)

The cables are well made and use good quality material. Proper color coding makes usage a no brainier.

They jump start alright, but since the clamps are not shielded, you should be careful when unplugging them. The right way to do it is to detach one of the two color ends (both red or both black) first otherwise, if you unplug one red and one black from one end you risk shorting and potentially damaging the battery if they accidentally come into contact (trust me, they will!). Jump-starting a car battery is a rare event, so I recommend not buying these because you'll probably forget this small detail the next time you use them.

Awesome quality at a great price... used them a couple times already during our cold snap to start the semi trucks
