I have used cast iron pots for many years. Got this pot as a replacement for one which I have had and used very regularly for some considerable time - yes you may pay a little more to get these pots but for the length of time and usage you get from them it is well worth the little extra you pay for them. The size of this pot is perfect for cooking for two. It can be used either on the hob to complete the cooking or once the pot and it’s contents reaches it’s cooking temperature put in the oven on a low heat setting to complete the cooking (the pot will hold it’s temperature exceptionally well once heated through so consequently cooking temperatures can be greatly reduced to complete the cooking thus saving energy costs). Soups, stews, paste sauce’s, Bolognaise etc all turn out tasty and extremely tender. Have only had this pot for a week but have already used it several times and it seems very robust and extremely easy to clean it also looks attractive. I feel I will get many years service out of this pot. Yes they are a little heavier than a steel pot but still very manageable. Cooking with a cast iron pot really does make a difference to your cooking ‘yummyness’ and I highly recommend this pot.

Lovely cast iron pot that is light enough to handle. Is non stick, easy to clean and a thing of beauty. I highly recommend this pot.

Like this pot it is an ideal size for 2 of us and is a nice colour, easy to clean should last a few years.

Great pot but very heavy especially when full. I had to get my husband to put it in and out of the oven due to my arthritis.

This is a solid and versatile dutch oven.We use it daily for a variety of cooking tasks and it performs well all around.It is easy to clean and other than a small amount of crackling on the enamel, it looks pristine.I don't think it performs optimally on an induction hob, as the heat is concentrated in the center and doesn't distribute evenly to the edge of the pot. I suspect it would be more suited to a gas stove.It does perform well in the oven for roasting and baking. A great all around kitchen piece.

I bought this with the intension of using for a Dutch oven for bread making, which I have done, but it's also perfect for soups and casseroles. It's good quality, not too heavy either. Looks quality and stylish too if it's sat out. Very good buy 👌

I wanted a pot that could go from the hob to the oven. I love Le Creuset but unfortunately they are out of my price range. This does the job perfectly and the colour is fab in my kitchen.
