ECCPP Wheel Hub and Bearing Assembly Front 515078 fit Ford Explorer Sport Trac Mercury Mountaineer 06 07 08 09 10 wheel hub 5 lugs with ABS 3 Bolt Flange

Bought a pair of these to install on my 2006 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer V6 back in August 2019. I had a noise coming from the front end which I hoped was rotors...turns out it was the drivers side hub. I replaced the pads/rotors on both sides previously, then purchased these and installed the drivers side. The sound was immediately gone and I realized the passenger side one was still good. I'm hanging onto the 2nd one for when the other side eventually needs replaced. The one I installed went in easily and seemed to be exactly as the OEM. Great value for the money and so far so good!

My 2007 Sports Trac had an irritating whine that sounded like tire noise. My mechanic said it was the front wheel bearings. After researching various front wheel hub assemblies I choose the ECCPP based on good reviews and price but the main factor was that ECCPP bearings are manufactured and certified to TS16949 quality standards. The auto industry is very demanding and if a manufacturer can adhere to OEM requirements they should be high-quality bearings. The appearance of the bearings out of the box is very good. One hub assembly weighed 168 ounces as compared to the original equipment bearing weight of 171. If the ts16949 standards were adhered to, the bearings should last a long time. A test drive with the new wheel assembly hubs proved to be very quiet. TIME WILL TELL.

I have a 2006 Ford Explorer that needed a new wheel hub assembly so I bought this part for it. Everything went well and was easy installing. Problem is now is that my traction control light keeps going on and off and the motor keeps jumping up and down RPMs because of the traction control light kicking on. When I unplug it, everything drives like it should, other than the fact that the ABS and traction control light come on. The sensor is bad or defective some how. I can’t have my car out of service, I need it to get to work. How to I get a replacement part to put on it so I can send this defective one back?

I'll say this, installation was easy & the part fit perfect. Unfortunately the part failed after 4 months and if you travel faster than 40 mph, the sound is unbearable. There isn't a wobble or any movement from the bearing, but the loud hum drowns out the stereo & now I've got replace it. It was good for about 500 miles, but I should have checked on the warranty before today, because it's been 13 months since I installed the wheel bearing.So, in the case of this brand replacement part; cheap price equals cheap part.

Worked great on our mercury mountaineer 2007 premier. When originally installed I did not install the speed cable that came with it as I had already replaced the cable a week previously. Unit did not work properly. But when I installed the new cable that came with the hub only then did it work properly. So I highly recommend using the speed sensor cable that comes with the hub assembly.Easy to install. Exact match to oem product.

i installed this today on my 07 sport trac . i had to use a bigass gear puller to get the old one off. the new one went on smooth. i took the truck for a test drive and the road noise was gone. i will update later with bearing longevity.update I installed a new hub on the driver side. the old one came off easy after doing the first one. the new hub fit like a glove. my truck drives much smoother and no noise. I received this one faster than the first hub.

Was a simple installation. I couldn’t find this part for a reasonable price at auto-zone or o’reillys, this product was the best priced! We took a 1000 mile road trip after installing and no problems so far. I will update after sometime to let you know how it holds up over the long term. So far very happy!
