Bought it to clean kitchen and bathroom sink drain lines. It works to clean the pipes after a complete clear of a clog with and actual drain snake cable. Instead of connecting it to the faucet, I use a regular Water hose connected to an outside spigot. See picture attached for setup reference.

Definitely helps to clean out traps under the sinks. Has several connection options. It fit my existing aerator threads just fine. It appears to only push the water straight out the end. The side holes don't seem to do anything. Maybe if it was pushed up against a jam, the water would come out the sides. It works just fine, but I would rather not even have the hole on the end, just side exits. I had to buy an inexpensive adapter so that I could connect it to my shower head. But with the adapter, it also worked just fine to help clean out the shower drain. All in all, this is quite a handy device, worth having on hand for whenever to need to improve your drains. I would buy again.

I bought this version because it claimed to have a self agitating nozzle that should spray out the bottom and from the sides (like the previous one I had). I bought this more for cleaning the hair and sludge that builds up over time, not for clearing clogged drains. The jet of water is very powerful and cleans the pipe well, but it doesn't spray to the side, so it takes a little longer to work. I had no leakage problems like other reviews have claimed, I think this is because I took the time to make sure it was hooked up correctly. It can be a little difficult to thread on straight, but I found that it was because the washer in the Moen faucet was too thick for the adapter, and I had to remove it and use the thinner one that comes with the tool. They provide two washers, several adapters and even some pipe thread tape in case there are small leaks, but I didn't even need to use the tape.

As others have noted, the way the head on this is built, the water only flows in a straight stream out of the end. It is absolutely NOT "self-agitating", as the product images note. Part of what allows a drain snake to work through pipes IS the agitation as you turn it 'round. So the lack of agitation in this product limits how easily you can push it through the pipes. Then, because the stream out of the end is so forceful if you turn up the water at all, if it aims at any of the seals in your plumbing - meant only for low-pressure drainage - it can force water past those seals and make a mess. In my case, I ended up needing to sop up water under my cabinet after trying this tool, even though the pipes don't leak at all under normal use. Another complaint, though not entirely the product's fault, is that none of the provided adapters fit my Price Pfister faucet, which apparently uses a somewhat uncommon thread size. Either way, after trying it, this went into the trash.

With drain caps on sinks, showers and tubs you’ll need something to blow out the clog. I’m son used drain O and it took all the finishing off the drain in his shower and if didn’t clear the clog. This was the perfect snake to clear it out. The only con is some fixtures have outside pipe threads this won’t work on. I will buy it again when needed!

Seems well made except after waiting weeks for this item, it does not work. The nozzle was never drilled all the way thru so no water can come out. Unscrewed nozzle and made a mess as water went everywhere. Looked closely at the nozzle and there is NO hole thru it. Would really like to get a new nozzle from the seller and will send this one back if needed. Will NOT work the way it is.

This product is a life saver. I have used the organic stuff from the Depot, 2 different types of chemical gel and other ways to try to clear the clog in my bathroom sink, it did not work. This did the job, it does requires some time and patience. The great thing is that this comes with a shower head attachment. I was able to connect it to the shower hose by removing the shower head and putting a washer to screw it tight, there was no leak. Put the hose into the drain slowly and moving it a bit to wiggle it downward as much as possible. Have someone turn on the shower and let it run. I used hot water. Prepare a plastic bowl to start removing the excess water from the sink as it will fill up. I was turning the tube and was able to push it even lower. It took 3 tries but the clog was cleared. This works really well. Thank you for this product.

I don't know if it's an issue with the connector, but I couldn't attach it to the tap, and there is no instructions on how to do that or what I need to do that. It's marketed as a Bathroom Clog Remover which is a bit misleading.
