I love the swivel, it still works ultra smooth after several years. However you should use a different carabiner if you plan to keep this outdoors. The one included rusts easily. I’m going to replace that portion with a pair of stainless steel carabiners.

I wanted to replace a baby swing for my daughter with a swing I saw at a local park. I loved the swing but did not buy this product first and attempted to find items at my local hardware store. They had nothing that was rated for holding people. So, I came back to Amazon to find this product. I rigged something up as a temporary solution until this product arrived. My daughter loved to spin in her new swing. (The swing which I also recommend is the 40" diameter Swing by Swing Monkey.) After I put this device on the first thing she wanted me to do was spin her. I gave the swing a little push and it began to spin so smoothly and it kept going, and going, and going. I am not sure it was ever going to stop. My daughter finally put her foot down to stop herself. It was amazing. I recommend that if you buy a round swing that this product be added to it.

I don’t usually write review but I have to with this swing swivel. I bought this swivel for the 40” diameter tree swing ( https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07585GWK7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) for my daughter. It came with a swivel but not a very good one. The swivel that came with the swing would spin/turn but after a couple of turn it’ll stop spinning. I decided to purchase this Auskit swing swivel and my daughter love it and my arms love it, lol. It was easy to install and it’s take very little effort to spin it. Once it start to spin it doesn’t really stop. I mean it’ll stop but it take a long time to stop. Lol. Again, easy on my arms and the fun and giggles go for a long time. I really recommend this swivel :)
