I bought this for neck support as I healed from a neck injury. I was unable to hold my head up for long periods of time and car rides were very painful. I used this at home and in the car and it was so comfortable. It’s not a miracle for eliminating all pain, but I do recall referring to it as a “life saver” in the days following my injury. It offered support, but wasn’t so tight that I couldn’t move around. Admittedly, it was a bit thick when I first started using it, but it contoured to my neck after a few uses. It was like breaking in a new pair of shoes that were already fairly comfortable in the beginning. After five months of using it for hours on end on a daily basis, it began to flatten a bit. It was still completely usable and comfortable, but I needed extra support, so my mom took it and I ordered myself another one. She still likes using the first one when she travels for work or vacation. I’ve been using the second one for a little over four months now (not for hours every single day as I did with the first one, but it still gets some use every day), and it is holding up really well. My grandmother recently fell and injured her neck. She’s currently in a brace to keep it immobile, but when that comes off, I’m ordering yet another one of these for her! Obviously, I highly recommend this neck pillow.

This pillow is extremely comfortable and supportive of my neck. It does exactly what its intent is, to support one’s neck. The cover is beyond soft, probably the softest cover of any neck pillow I have purchased, and is removable for washing. I currently have three other U-pillows, as I’m always in search of the perfect support for my neck. The search stops with the Crafty World neck support travel pillow. The pillow is reasonably priced and arrived in two days. Its quality surpasses my expectations, as it is very well-made. Customer Service is phenomenal. I was emailed after I had the pillow a week, inquiring how I liked it. I sent a return email complimenting the representative on the customer service and learned theirs is a small, family-owned and operated company. Most importantly, I learned it is an American company based right here in the United States, and I choose to buy American-made products and support the economy of my country. You’ll not go wrong with this pillow.

So the pillow is nice, the cover is soft & comfy, however I started using the pillow every night due to back & shoulder pain. I thought it was just my hormones, but when I got terrible acne in spots I usually don't (bottom of my jawline, sides of neck, even ear lobe) I suspected a problem. I had not washed the cover before use b/c I fear washing will tear it up. I do not handwash anything. They make machines for that. After all, I'm using this product for an achy neck stemming from overuse at work. I know it will take a while for the acne to subside, so I went ahead with my rating. The cover has since been washed. I'm hoping my reaction was to the fabric itself and not the potential lack of breathability of the material. The cover survived the wash & dry with a handful of towels. Let this be your warning to wash the cover before even thinking about using the pillow. It's pretty comfy but the pillow cannot be used without the cover. It's straight foam. Very sticky feeling. I was replacing a homedics pillow I've had for an extremely long time. My dog ate its cover. Will go back to them if acne persists. The purple was hard to resist.

I just received my pillow today. I have had neck, back, shoulder and arm pain for months. This little pillow is so comfortable and conforms perfectly to my rather large, thick, neck and upper head. Instantly when I put it around my neck and laid in my recliner I was supported and felt like I was laying on a soft, level, stable surface. The microfiber cover is soft and supple to the touch. Absolutely love the feel of this against my skin. This little neck pillow supports just enough but also is cushiony (is that a word) enough to feel really good to me. If you are a recliner person you know the back of most recliners don't offer much head support unless you have an electric recliner with the fancy head support. The only negative about this neck pillow is that I wish it came in a slightly longer version for people, like me, with bigger necks so that it could be a bit more versatile (i.e., chin support). But, for average sized folks, it should be fine, in my opinion. The pillow doesn't quite touch the tips on me, there is about a 2" to 3" gap, however, I can turn my head either direction in it and still have support. I hope this review helps, especially larger people with neck and back pain.

UPDATE TO REVIEW 12/24/15 - Since review the company has contacted me to issue a refund; didn't expect this but with that said buy with confidence on this product however I stand by the review of the design. The item's customer service is 5+/5 stars. I would purchase from them again if they offered another product; communication and process of refund was beyond painless. 2/5 stars for the product; materials are quality its just the design of how the foam is cut shapes under pressure didn't work for me. As a result I will adjusted my rating to 3 stars to average exceptional customer service with previous review of design. Thank you Craft World Team ______ SEE UPDATE ABOVE AFTER READING:If you have been reading review after review to determine if this Pillow's technology is the right choice over simpler designs with bead or other fillers look no further as I'll cut to the point. I purchased this pillow for its claimed comfort and the idea of washing the cover to keep it clean. Overall the cheaper options out there will provide better support and a sleeping experience. If you wish to learn why read on but after 20 hours of flying one direction with a quick layover inbetween from US to Auckland NZ. 20 hours back the other in economy the provided airline pillow and my fiance's $14 dollar pillow were better options. 1. I'm 5 foot 7 about a 150 pounds and a slender neck to give you reference 2. Uncomfortable & not practical; the pillow has too much material that rests directly behind your neck and is pointy due to zipper and doesn't compress enough with natural weight of your body leaning back. I couldn't sleep with this pillow and caused discomfort down my neck because my shoulders were slightly lifted from touching the seat the pillow touching the seat and my head kept from touching the seat unless i looked up at the ceiling of the cabin. The pillow created pressure points through my back and neck because my body could not evenly rest along the surface of the seat back. The design of this pillow needs to change; I suggest not buying if my body description is similar to yours. Lastly the aircraft seats flying internationally were not different then what you experience on Domestic US flight with a weird shape or padding. Honestly this pillow is terrible for its price point and doesn't get the job done. 3. Save your money buy the simpler one. 4. 1 star by default it deserves 0

I cant even say how much I love these pillows - this is my second one and I use it every day. I mostly use it while watching TV or napping, also working from home, but I've taken it on car trips and plane rides. It is supportive and comfortable while not big and in the way. I like that I can adjust it to fit where I want it by sliding it around. The memory foam is cool and the cover is so soft. My only complaint is that the seams on the cover split too easily. I've had to sew up both of mine at the back of the neck to reinforce them. I'm an average size person, a woman, so not sure why they always split out there. However, this is not a big deal, the pillow still works great.

I am probably one of the few people who did not buy this for a neck pillow. I have stenosis and needed extra support for my back. This pillow is exactly what I was looking for. It is firm and gives my back great support. And it is comfortable. The pillow is made extremely well, the material is very soft and I love the fact that the material is removable for washing. I did try it on my neck but I have a very short neck and it did not work well . However, that is my problem and not the fault of the pillow. I do think others would be extremely satisfied. It is on the firm side. What I really like is that I can spread the opening and it fits right across the back of my waist giving me the support I need when sitting. The quality and workmanship is excellent. I would purchase again if needed.

A few months ago I had a minor neck injury, so I knew I would need a travel pillow that was supportive and comfortable for an extended European trip. My squishy, limp travel pillow was not going to cut it. I looked at many options on Amazon and finally decided to try this one out. This pillow was the perfect choice. It has the right amount of neck support, with perfect amount of "give" to cradle and support while providing comfort and stability while traveling. It is large enough, but does not push my head forward the way some pillows do. The fabric is soft and velvety. I was happily surprised by the elastic strap, which makes it easy to slip over a purse strap or luggage. I used it for 3 weeks on a trip involving long overseas and shorter flights, train rides, and even in the car. I recommend highly!
