Great heater for the price!!
I’ve been using the HiTauing submersible heater in my 75, 125, and two 10 gallon freshwater tanks for a few weeks now, and I’m really happy with how steady it keeps the water temperature. The dual temperature control works great — I can toggle between °C and °F easily, and the LED display is bright and clear. One of the best things is the safety features: there’s a water sensor that shuts the heater off if it’s not fully submerged, and it also cuts out if it overheats, which gives me peace of mind when I’m away. According to the manual, those features help protect both the heater and my fish. m.media-amazon.com +1 It also heats up pretty fast, thanks to the nickel-chromium heating core. reviewaqua.com +1 The casing feels solid — explosion-proof quartz glass — and the suction cups hold it firmly to the tank wall. reviewaqua.com +1 If I had to nitpick, the controller wires are a little short, so positioning the heater just right takes a bit of thought. But overall, it’s a reliable, high-performing heater for a great price — exactly what I was looking for.

Great heaters! I bought two! ACCURATE!
Instead of one big heater, I bought two 300 watt heaters for my 75 gallon aquarium. I have them both set at 74 degrees. I have verified their accuracy with several different types of thermometers. Our room temp is 65 degrees during the cool / cold months. Between the two heaters it seems that they are hardly working. The green lights mean that they are not actively heating. When they are heating there is a red light instead of green. Running two smaller heaters rather than one big one is good because I have a backup. Plus, neither one is taxed with the job of doing it all by just one heater. So far the heaters are working superbly. Staying right where they should be. I really like the visibility of the controllers. They are easy to operate and set. I also like the fact that the heaters themselves are black. They just blend right in. Also, these heaters have a three prong grounded plug and the cords are heavy gauge. I do not understand why some heaters are made without the ground plug. I am 110% satisfied with these heaters!

Reliable Heaters with Smart Design Features
I currently use seven of these heaters in various freshwater aquariums (three 50W, two 200W, and two 500W models). Performance & Reliability: While I've only had them for a few months, they've been consistently reliable and accurate in temperature regulation. In one of my tanks, I have two of these heaters, each on a separate external temperature controller (heater set at 80°F with secondary thermostat at 74°F), creating excellent redundancy. This arrangement provides complete fault tolerance - the tank would only overheat if both the heater and its corresponding thermostat failed simultaneously, and would only drop to room temperature if both heating systems failed together. Despite being power-cycled multiple times daily through this setup, the heaters maintain their setpoints and continue to function flawlessly. Design Improvements vs. standard heaters: These should theoretically outlast traditional heaters for two reasons: -They use thermocouples instead of bimetallic strip thermostats, which are less prone to wear -The control logic is located outside the water in a pod on the cord, reducing water exposure to electronics Installation Consideration: The only potential issue is that the heater is permanently attached to the temperature controller. This means the thinnest part of the assembly is actually the heater itself. For tanks requiring the power cord to pass through a small opening (like my euro-braced tank which does not use a conventional lid), you'll need an opening large enough for the entire heater assembly to pass through. Additional Features: They include an extra suction cup, which is a thoughtful touch. **General Aquarium Advice:** For any aquarium setup, I strongly recommend using two smaller heaters rather than one large one. This provides limited fault tolerance without introducing the complexity of my external thermostat setup. If a heater sticks on, being lower-wattage, it will take longer to overheat the tank, and if a heater sticks off the other will still provide some heat. I wouldn't trust any brand of heater without at least this level of redundancy. Bottom Line: Highly recommended based on my experience so far. These heaters deliver on the essentials with some smart design improvements over traditional models.

Works great
Keeps my 20 gallon long fish tank at a good and steady temperature, really happy with how it works and it's nice being able to adjust the temperature from outside the tank

Awesome but needs different suction cups
Purchased the 500w for my 75gal tank. Has been working wonderful. However only fault I've found is the suction cups have corroded after only 6months, now need to find replacement suction cups.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Our 300w heater started to malfunction a few days before the year mark and I emailed the manufacturer to see if it could be replaced still under the warranty. They responded quickly and gave me instructions on what to do to obtain a replacement. The process was quick and easy, I received my replacement heater today. I’m glad I was able to receive a replacement because we love this water heater and how well it heats up the water for our fish. It’s very easy to use and constantly monitors the temperature of the tank.

Works perfectly 👌
This heater heats up a aquarium quite fast and I've had it for a year so far and haven't had any issues with it. And it is especially fine in a overgrown aquarium lol. Which my aquarium is a 60 gallon.

I’ve been using the Heater for a few weeks now in my 15-gallon freshwater tank, and it has exceeded expectations. The external digital display makes it easy to monitor and adjust the temperature, and I love that you can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit with a simple press. The over-temperature protection and auto shut-off when removed from water offer great peace of mind — especially for someone like me who worries about equipment safety. It heats up fast and maintains a stable environment for my fish. Installation was quick, and the suction cups hold firmly. The design also feels sturdy and well-built. Overall, this is a solid, affordable option if you’re looking for a dependable aquarium heater with smart features. Highly recommend for both beginners and experienced hobbyists!

Maintaining the correct water temperature in an aquarium is crucial for the health and well-being of your fish. After trying the HiTauing Aquarium Heater, I’ve been impressed by how well it delivers steady and reliable heat. The submersible design makes it easy to place out of the way, and it blends neatly into the tank without spoiling the look. Setup is simple—tap on the buttons to your preferred temperature and let it do the work. The display is switchable between Fahrenheit and Celsius. Within a short time, the heater raises the water to the correct level and maintains it consistently. What stands out most is its stability. Sudden temperature swings can stress fish, but this heater maintains a steady temperature, which is reassuring. It feels solidly built and safe to use, and the adjustable settings give you the flexibility to suit different species and tank conditions. For its performance and reliability, the HiTauing Aquarium Heater offers excellent value. If you’re looking for an affordable yet effective way to maintain the optimal temperature in your aquarium, this product is certainly worth considering.
