Sadly just months after purchase, I had the unfortunate experience of testing the safety of this helmet. Greatfully I was safe, and walked away from the accident. Shoei fits me the best, and will be with this company as long as I throw a leg over a motorcycle.

I had an AGV K-6 and it is lighter but nowhere as comfortable as this one is. the field of vision is amazing, the cheek pads where super tight so I did buy the 31 mm cheek pads and now fits amazing. super quiet and well ventilated! I am very happy with it!

The helmet is a perfect fit. Air flow is great and still has a lower noise level. I have an intercom installed and the speakers sit deep enough that my ears aren't bloody raw after a ride. The new shield ratcheting mechanism is really good too. It does slam shut on you about 50mph though, so don't panic.
