Great content but newspaper images difficult to read on Kindle
The content is great. The only disappointment in the Kindle format is that images of newspaper clippings are much too small to even attempt to read--even when double tapping the image to enlarge it, the picture is too grainy to read. It would be nice if the scans were of higher quality.

Great Timeline!
This a mandatory read for any true Disney fan. The author takes your hand and walks you through a nostalgic journey that - for once in Disney's design - does not empty into a gift shop!Well done!

Absolutely Fantastic.
I was looking for something to read so I combined my love of Disney with books and this presented itself. This has some very little known facts that I was surprised by. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fantastic read that is passionate about Disney. The book is updated all the way through the opening of Shanghai Disney.

Good book, but not for people first learning Disney history
Good book, but wasn't expecting it just to be a timeline.I won't recommend this to someone who doesn't have knowledge of Disney history. A lot of major events seemed to be passed over quickly, like the whole Mintz thing and working with Ub Iwerks. The flow of the book just seemed rigid. It was easy to stop reading and pick back up because a lot of the dates were only a few paragraphs. And most of the dates, other books, articles, newspapers were cited.

Everything
This book contains everything a Disney fan would like to know. It starts with animation and expands into the Disney parks. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in both these subjects.

Disney
I have read many many books about Walt Disney. This book gave a different viewpoint. It was a fast read. 1928-2016-discussed movies, parks and personalities. I love Walt and what he accomplished and that his legacy carries on today.

An encycyclopaedic book
The title really says it all. If you're a Disney geek, and want to know everything, but everything, about Walt Disney and his works, then this is the book for you. You will discover that Euro Disney lost over $900 million in its first operational year, and did not make a profit until 1995 (having opened in 1992). You will discover that a new visa (the Q visa) was introduced specifically so that Disney could employ foreign staff members for EPCOT. What you will NOT find are details and secrets of the Disney magic at work in the Parks. For that you will have to go to books written by Susan Veness, Chris Smith, Mike Fox etc.
