Both of my boys started getting double ear infections once they started going to daycare. They were on antibiotics for several months before I said I had enough, and then they had the surgery to put tubes in their ears. Obviously antibiotics kill the good and bad bacteria, so they suffered from diarrhea. Their pediatrician recommended a probiotic for them. These Flora Tummys were a life saver because it totally got rid of their diarrhea while they were still on the antibiotics. And while there may be some more well known brands out there, these are made in the USA and they are individual packets. I know for the ones that don't come in individual packets, they loose some of their "power" once they are opened and have constant contact with air. So these are perfect for kids on the go. You can just sprinkle it in their juice cup, shake it up and its done. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a little hard to dissolve, unless u pour it in a little bit at a time and shake, multiple times. That takes to long, so I just dump it in and give it a good hard shake for a few seconds and walla. Sometimes u will see it clumped up, but that's because you didnt shake it right away.

Been giving FloraTummys Probiotics to my 3 year old son for 8 months now & I couldn't be more happy with the results!! I knew that probiotics were good but never really thought that much about them until I read an article & decided to give it a try. My boy had acid re-flux issues as a baby & I was afraid of trying something that could worsen that so before ordering, I emailed the co. & I received an email back with thorough answers to all my questions right away. The fact that they this product is sugar & lactose free , FDA inspected & made in the USA definitely put my at ease. Since Oct. of last year up until now, my son hasn't gotten sick at all! (knock on wood! :) ) Even when my whole family was sick with the flu or stomach viruses etc..I was always dreading him getting sick too but to my amazement he didn't & I know it's due to this probiotics! Since had an acid re flux issue as a baby, he's always had a very bad gag reflex so I knew any probiotics in pill form , even dissolvable tables wouldn't work for him so this powder mix pockets are amazing! So easy to do & take with you if you are going to be away...I mix one packet with his milk at dinner time & he never has complained about different taste or anything. I truly recommend this to any moms who want to make sure their kids are healthy & have a strong immune system. I'll be trying them myself too since it has more than usual adult probiotics (5 billion live cells) Love Floratummys :)

Our near three-year-old has had chronic G.I. problems her entire life. She has a typical food allergies called FPIES (food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome) which has led to chronic diarrhea and difficulty navigating her dietary needs. We tried another popular probiotic brand and found that this only made her stools looser. Through some medical research, I came across a few strands of bacteria that are better for those with diarrhea. When I searched for those strands I came across this product. We struggle with finding supplements that do not contain food sources that she cannot have so we were thrilled to find something that had ingredients based from potatoes, which is safe for her. She has never balked at the flavor, we mix it with her apple juice. Within four days of starting this product, she had solid bowel movement, some thing we had only seen four or five times in her entire life. She still has some loose stools occasionally, because we are continuing to try to expand her diet, but she has had more formed stools than ever in just the one month of taking her first box of probiotics. We are setting this up for monthly shipments and are so grateful to find this allergy friendly product that has been a saving grace!

After much research into beneficial bacterial strains, I found this - Floratummys probiotic sprinkles for kids. I really wanted my multiple allergy toddler to be able to take this to help with his gut and immune system issues but he was having issues with the FOS, fructooligosaccharide, in it that Floratummys uses as a prebiotic. Loose stools, extreme gassines, itchy skin, eczema worse. Ended up going back to his old brand. :(

Purchased for my son who is an extremely picky eater and often struggles with constipation. I was hesitant to mix this into his water because if he caught any inkling that there was something mixed in, it would be a melt down. I tried the water first and truly couldn’t detect that any supplement was added! So thankful I found this!

This probiotic is amazing. I don’t usually write reviews, but wanted to help out other parents who may be at wit’s end with chronic constipation. Our 18 month old has been chronically constipated since switching to whole milk after he turned a year old. Since then, we’ve tried all the “usual” suggestions, like increased water intake, decreasing the amount of dairy, more fruits and veggies, prune and pear juices, tummy massages, etc. Nothing helped. I even read about how it’s common to give toddlers Miralax on a daily basis, but with the recent research linking Miralax to behavioral issues in toddlers, we really didn’t want to go down that route. How is it normal to give a baby a daily laxative!? As a last resort, I read a ton of reviews on different toddler probiotics and decided to give FloraTummys a try.It took about 12 days to see any difference, but now our son has regular bowel movements nearly every day. He no longer strains or whines in discomfort, and overall seems much more comfortable. We just dissolve one packet in a small cup of juice, water, or milk in the morning, give it a good shake, and he drinks it down no problem. I am so thankful we found this product and we will definitely repurchase!
