Extremely high quality with perfect herb ratios! The color, smell and taste are perfection. With just a pinch per serving one bag makes a TON of tea. I love this in smoothies, room temp water, or boiled as directed. I watched a video where Rene Caisse was grinding her herbs to a really fine powder which is EXACTLY what this is. I chose this brand of essiac tea because they are very meticulous in sourcing their ingredients and they only produce small batches so these herbs are FRESH, not stale and moldy which I have encountered in the past with another canadian brand that shall remain nameless. This tea has dramatically improved my digestion, elimination, mental clarity and overall sense of well-being. I’m post menopausal and feel it’s totally rebalancing my hormones. I would absolutely recommend Optimally Organic essiac tea superfood powder if you are picky like me and want the BEST!!!

I will try to help others to know a couple of unusual things this type of tea has helped me with. When you have ankylosing spondylitis your eyes are under constant eye disease attack. For some reason this tea helps with eye inflammation where many other things do not. It is clear good care went into making this a quality product. I appreciate any one that puts out the 8 herb Ojibwa Essiac for us for the war on disease & cancer, wanting everyone to get the word out on this potent, effective, life saving healer. An update 1-24-14. This is a very potent, wonderful version of the 8-herb Ojibwa Essiac tea. Increased natural energy was noticed almost immediately. It is the first drink & 2nd each day for me with grape seed extract capsules & Powergrape, a 2nd grape seed extract I take to make the Grape Cure (book by Johanna Brandt on Amazon for cancer & health) more potent. This is a wonderfully made tea with the measurements of the 8 herbs just right. You pour the fluid off until you come to the left over thick powdered herb in the bottom of the boiling pot. You do take all the fluid off but do not need the thick left over herb in the bottom unless you want to. I think this is possibly the best Ojibwa Essiac I have ever bought. A very good product.

I have been drinking the four herb for about a year and it has great health benefits but I have fibromyalgia and thought I would try this 8 herb. You make it about the same but you do not strain it. because it is a powder all it has is the sludge and you shake it before you drink it so that you are also drinking all the herbs. The taste to me is not so good and a little bitter so I mix it with juice like cranberry or orange. I think the cranberry is better as it is a little tart and helps hide the bitterness of the tea but the orange works also. The first few days I drank this tea, I had deep intense muscle pain, headache, dizziness, and going to the bathroom a lot! I read more about it and I realize that it is also a detox. After the third day, I got a burst of energy and no more pain in my legs and arms with the exception of my wrists and ankles. I felt like I was walking on new legs! I could even walk up the stairs with no pain in my legs. Still have some (barely) in my shoulders but only notice it after about working 8 hours. I highly recommen this tea but would sk your doctor first if you are taking a lot of medications. The detox period is going to probably make you feel miserable but it is worth it if you can stand to get through the first 3 days. I recommend you do this on days off.

This is the nastiest tasting stuff. But I am not taking it for my pleasure but for my health. It does taste a tad better than another brand I got earlier, and mixes up with a thinner consistency, and not as 'chunky' as the other brand. But still... I just hope it helps what I think may be the problem in my gut. Oh and it's cheaper than the other brand too, and you get more in the bag.

So excited for this product, there was a mix up in the order. Amazon says there is no refund policy on it. But they company jumped right on it and made it right. I recieved multiple calls to make sure all is well which you just don't get that type of service anymore. I have been taking the tincture, taste is good, easy to use and I plan to use it for immune longevity!

Before using this product, I would be very tired every day. It has boosted my energy level. I drink a cup daily. I think it is kinda pricey, but it does help with energy.
