They were great for what they were purchased for, an engagement present for a second wedding. Something old turned into something something new, something borrowed from the earth, something blue.

These were so beautiful! I love the variations and these are very high quality!

I ordered two sets of the geode coasters for an art project and could not be happier with my purchase. The items are perfectly irregular and unique, and 4 of the 8 I ordered had slight tinges of color. One look at these and you know they are natural, real. Plus, they are packaged carefully with plenty of padding in a nice box with a topo-like design.

The media could not be loaded.  I love the color and how nice and compact these coasters are. Each one is unique. The patterns are beautiful. They are a bit smaller than expected but I love them so much, I’m keeping them for my coaster collection.

These coasters look delicate, but they were well packed. They come with little adhesive rubber dots to stick to the bottoms so they won’t scratch your surfaces. These catch the light nicely, but they’re obviously not going to be absorbent.

Pretty but porous! Not what you need in a coaster...they soak up drink spills seemingly and it soaks in like a sponge and sets.

I bought a set of these (in blue) as a gift for a family member last Christmas. Although they chose to not keep them for personal reasons, we couldn't find any real issue with them. The selection of geodes was really good, nice selection of finishes. They all were pretty and unique looking; would have been hard to choose a favourite (as opposed to what I received from another company). Any of the ones sent would also have made a pretty decoration as an alternative to a coaster. They were well packaged, and the little stick-on feet were a good addition to keep them from sliding off of, or scratching, a table. They would also keep the bottoms from getting wet from a spill. The sizes were all close to each other and well within the description measurements.Some people complained that they were too small unless you used a small mug, but I didn't find any problem sitting the large heavy mugs I like to use which are 3" wide on the base, and 4-1/8" wide at the top. Granted I didn't try to use them on a regular basis, but just sitting my large mug on them wasn't any problem — despite their size, they still didn’t completely cover the coaster. I can see that they might be a little slippery if you weren't careful, and that they would probably break if knocked to the floor, but that can be said of anything that isn't made of rubber. I also couldn't attest to the "absorbency" of them, but the geodes look to be of a hard surface, so how absorbent could you expect them to be? If I were looking for myself, or another gift, I would definitely buy a set of these again.
