High quality, easy to travel with.

These are excellent quality with only four essential implements. I love the small red case and bought one for myself, then another for travel, and one for a friend. Now my granddaugher has absconded with mine and I am buying another for her. It's such a pleasure using a simply made product that works really well. Noone needs all the implements in those big nail sets. This is just perfect.

Both the nail cloppers work well, cutting through the nail easily with a satisfying click. There is also a built in nail file if you wanted to carry either of the clippers alone. I don't plan on carrying the toenail clippers around all the time and there is a 3rd slit to put the handle of the nail clipper in to hold it secure in the case if it's in there alone. The file is good, though it's small, having a surface more similar to sandpaper than just ridges on some other metal files. The tweezers also seem to be good quality, the ends meeting up exactly when you squeeze them closed, though my tweezers were not the same type as was was pictured. I received precision tip pointed tweezers rather than the flat ended type as in the photo, which I would have preferred. The cloth is also very nice thick microfiber, and would be perfect for cleaning either the provided tools or a pair of glasses. Where this set falls short is the case. The craftsmanship of the case is nice. It's made of pleather, and not real leather but it doesn't feel cheap or weak with the metal logo and all edges finished. My big issue with the case is that the snap is not tight enough. The snap on the body of the case should be about 1 inch lower down to hold the tools securely inside. See my photos of the case snapped closed as well as with the flap pulled tight like it should be. The case doesn't really fit the cloth well either, which is fine for me because I don't plan on using such a quality microfiber cloth just for my nail tools. You could probably lay the cloth flat under the flap to hold it if the flap was tighter like it should be. All in all I think this is a nice portable set as long as you don't need the case to be secure as is. A thin hair tie will secure the flap closed more tightly as it should be to make this case functional for me. The metal logo holds the flap down nicely with this method (see photo).

I have bought items from this manufacturer before and have been very happy. This set did not hit the mark. Everything is the usual high quality … case, materials, cutting implements … except the tweezers. If they weren’t marked with the company’s brand, I’d think they were switched out with a cheap pair of tweezers. They are thin, very bendy, and the tips have zero precision with wavy gaps. They have a hard time tweezing hairs almost the thickness of a broomstick. Forget tweezing regular or thin hair. Such a disappointment. The tweezer was the main implement I needed. I trusted the brand. It was my mistake to do so. I should have used the set before the return window. If I could, I would have returned it immediately. I’ve bought cheap tweezers at Walmart that are 1000 times better than these. Such a disappointment for a supposed quality set.

I love the style and convenience of the little pack that everything is kept in but if you have thicker nails you might want to get another type of nail clippers. My nails are not that thick but the smaller nail clipper tends to take a stronger grip to use it. The filer is also a bit cheap and the texture of it… disturbs me LOL but regardless everything works you know
