I suffer from meniscus damage in my knee. When I am active, I sometimes aggravate it, which can result in a fair amount of pain. I know that a knee brace or sleeve is not going to fix my knee. However, I have found that with the right support designed into the sleeve or brace, it can relieve some of the impact and aggravation of the joint and help me perform the activity with less pain during or afterward. The Blitzu Flex Professional Compression Knee Sleeve is the second brace of this type that I have purchased. The key features being the compression design of the material and the gel pad that encircles the kneecap. My first sleeve was made by a different manufacturer but had a similar design. After much use, it recently started to come apart. So, it was time to order a new sleeve. After reviewing the choices available on Amazon, I decided to give the Blitzu Flex a try and find out if it performed as well or better than my last one. After trying out the Blitzu, it seems to support my knee as well as my previous sleeve. I like its design. The fit, for me, is a little snug when ordering according to their size chart but I believe it should be for the compression to work correctly. The only fault I find with the fit is that the material behind the knee joint tends to bunch together a little when I bend my knee. This makes it a bit uncomfortable if I try to bend my knee at a full 90° or more. For normal walking or running type activities, this is not an issue but it might be a bit of a problem if you need maximum flexion of the knee joint. This being said, this issue is probably true of almost all knee supports, so I am not holding this against the Blitzu sleeve. As far a how durable this sleeve will be, only time will tell. It appears to be well made and I like the design and the materials used. I believe the gel pad around the kneecap is very important for my type of injury. I have tried other sleeves that do not have this pad and they were not as effective in supporting my knee or in preventing aggravation to it during activities. Therefore, I consider this gel pad to be essential for my application. I rated this with 4 stars because I don't think it is perfect, but 4.5 stars would be closer to my true rating (Amazon doesn't let me select a half star). Hopefully, this review will help you as you evaluate this support for your own needs.

After researching brands and models we went to my husband's Physical Therapist for advice on which one to use. The PT felt that the Blitz Flex would provide the best and most comfortable support. I had previously gone to our local drugstore and purchased two other brands that provided no real relief. He has received such great results from the Blitz Flex in combination with his daily exercises and PT sessions that his PT recommended that he use one on each knee when hiking, biking, etc. This is the 2nd Blitz Flex that I purchased. I realize this will not be the same for everyone, but from the moment my husband put these supports on he was able to walk pain free for the 1st time in weeks(months) and this is a huge relief for "both" of us. He says the fit is quite comfortable (be sure to measure) and the stabilizers are enough to absorb some shock when walking/biking. Now my husband is moving forward confidently that he can once again enjoy the activities that he loves.

Wow, I never expected these to be so effective for my moderate arthritic knee pain! I'm an RN of "a certain age" and I work 12 hour shifts during which I walk constantly, bend, squat, and lift. By the end of a shift, I often found myself hobbling home and then dreading having to get up and walk in the morning Then I wore these for braces while at work for two days. Not only did they significantly reduce my knee pain while I was on my feet but in the mornings I found my knees much less swollen and much less stiff and sore. I won't plan to stop my strengthening exercises, but I have reduced my pain medication by at least half.

I have tried several different knee sleeves for different activities - bicycle riding, cross training and martial arts. Both of my knees have had ACL injuries and the right side required surgery. Different types of sleeves have been effective for some parts of my training but not for others. I use Rehband sleeves when resistance training, for example, but they aren't optimal for karate training. I have been using Futuro for martial arts training and riding because I find the gel ring around the patella helps when dropping to one knee, kicking, etc.My Futuro sleeves were starting to wear out and I wanted to try something new. I saw the Blitzu Flex and decided to give them a try based on the reviews I read. So far they have been excellent! The sleeve seems to give me greater compression around my knee than the Futuro and a bit more flexibility than the Rehband. The diameter of the gel ring in the Blitzu is bigger than the Futuro and it stabilizes the kneecap more effectively. The ring also keeps the sleeve in place. My biggest complaint about the Futuro is that the ends of the stabilizers sewn into the sides dig into my calf. This hasn't been the case with the Blitzu. The only complaint I have with the Blitzu is that they tend to bunch a little behind the knee but that has been the case with all sleeves that I have tried and I don't notice it after I have worn them for a few minutes. I have been wearing the Blitzu for every part of my training regimen and they are working very well!Edit 2/27/19These sleeves are still working well but they aren't wearing too well. The inner seam that holds the inner support in place is starting to tear on both sleeves. Unfortunately it gets a little worst each time I use tham and I will probably have to replace them soon. I would expect them to last at least a year and even though they aren't that expensive it is kind of a pain. I might give another brand a try when I reorder.

I have severe osteoarthritis in both knees but didn't want to go back to the Dr for more shots. This knee sleeve surprisingly lessened the pain in my knee after wearing it for ONE day! It doesn't take away the pain altogether but it's a great alternative for those days when you need some relief. One other note I weigh 190# so I ordered a XX-Lg which fits well.

Took a long time to arrive, but worth the wait. The brace allows me to golf and walk with a lot less pain. Until my surgery is completed it is helping me enjoy being active again.
