I love my pilot hi-tec-c gel pen! I use the black ink the most and am so glad I’m able to purchase refills! The old ink is easy to remove and refill. Good, quality gel ink. Smooth writing, no blotting.

I LOVE this tiny point. I love a very thin line for writing. I just wish they lasted longer and weren't so pricey for as fast as I go through them.

Great ink for fine details of any pen based project. I have used many fine line pens and this one is one of the best. Most ballpoint style pens this small rip the page more than write on it, but these perform quite well.

These pens are great. I would love to see a nice a metal one on the market with 5 slots.

Very easy to break, but an absolute dream to write with. I'm already having fever dreams of what I'll do if I don't have more refills and I'm forced into writing with a crappy old ballpoint. Those would be bleak times, indeed.

I ordered many different colors of these refills so I'm using this same review for all of them.I usually use the Hi-Tec-Maica pens, but the ink ran out so I wanted to try something new. I decided to use the Hi-Tec-C because I thought the refillable ink cartridges would be better for the environment. However, these refills do not last long at all, so I have to us more, resulting in more waste in the trash from the empty cartridges. I am a student, so I take a decent amount of notes, but I don't think it's any more than normal. For reference, one Maica pen would me a little over a year, but one Coleto refill lasts me one to three weeks (one week for black refills because that's the main color I take notes in, and about three weeks for a colored refill because I only take side notes with those).Although these pens write great, I will not be repurchasing them because each refill comes in its own plastic bag, which counters my original reason for buying these refills (sustainability).
