Whitmans Giant 36 Oz Sampler of Assorted Premium Chocolates

The Whitman Sampler has always been a family favorite.

My mom is a huge Whitman's fan. This was the perfect Christmas gift!

I know the item says 36 oz but it is very disappointing.. when you open the box you expect a lot of candy. Nope, very disappointing. Will never buy again. It's a novelty item.

I bought this as a gift for my mom and sister who are chocolate lovers. It was kind of a goof gift, like, "Wow! Look at this crazy big box of chocolates!" It mostly succeeded in that regard since the box itself is big but really it is more of a novelty. They mostly enjoyed it because, hey, they love chocolate and the chocolate itself was OK.First thing you should know if buying this is that while it may look like a large amount of chocolates, it really isn't. There is just the one top layer and the rest is just the plastic packaging. Seems like there was more plastic than chocolate in the box. The box must have been upside down quite often during shipping because many of the chocolates were just scattered about.So all in all if you want to get a big box as a gag or a goof this should fill that need but it was overpriced and I would have been better off ordering 2 smaller boxes and would have ended up with more chocolates and spent less.

What's not to love about this giant box of chocolates! Always a great assortment of flavors and great tasting.

ordered it for wicked step mother Christmas gift. Haven't tasted. Arrived exactly as described in timely fashion, unopened box. dang it

bought it for my husband for xmas, he ate it within 2 weeks, so i would say its very good

Last year and the year before, this box, at the same price, was 40 OUNCES. Now, it's 36 OZ.
