dunno if this is an old product or not but it feels like rubbing a candle on yourself doesn't seem to apply well as it's dry. compared to the blue & pink ones (i find the 'ladies' one identical to the men's) both are more like a wet vaseline and applies readily. if there were any formulation difference it didn't across easily from the labelling and i got this to replace my spent one previously of a diff. model (the pink one).
