lens came in fantastic condition. the performance is next level the motor is so smooth & quiet. super sharp

I’m not quite sure how useful this focal length will be for me yet, as I’m mostly used to shooting with zooms (16-55, 55-200, etc) but wanted a faster lens for low light street and walk round shooting. I already have a 35 f2 which is sharp, and knew the 23mm prime would be sharper than zooms but had no idea it would be as crazy sharp as it is. It also focused fast and is accurate, as expected. I considered other options from 3rd parties but am glad I went with the Fuji as I can’t imagine the others could be quite, if even nearly, this good.

I was looking for a lens to accompany my new Fujifilm X-H2S.My favorite focal length is at the 35mm field of view in a full frame camera.This is just the ticket.This lens is really well built with exceptional image quality. It is weather resistant and has an aperture ring if you choose to set your aperture this way.The colors from this lens are beautiful. The focusing is quick and silent. This lens is also pretty small.The wide 1.4 aperture means that you can shoot in low light with lower ISO settings. It also can focus quickly in low light.If I had to have only one lens, would be it!Highly recommended!Please note that the first time it was delivered, the box had disposable masks instead of the lens. Amazon was quick to make another order to remedy the situation, fortunately there was the lens in the package, in the second attempt.So, please open your box immediately to make sure you receive it. This lens is brilliant. It is tack sharp wide open and a joy to use with a very close minimum focusing distance. Obviously not for headshots, but for environmental portraiture and all around use. I was a little hesitant to get this rather than the wider 18mm, but already having the 16-55 made my decision easier. I find that it makes me deliberate more about what I want to have in the frame in the first place, rather than to crop in after the fact.Highly recommended.

This is my go to lens. I can rely on traveling with this lens alone and taking some amazing photos

This lens is optically one of the best lenses I've ever tested. It's sharp, no distortion, controls flaring well, color rendering is amazing,autofocus is quiet and fast. I've used hundreds of lenses extensively as a professional photographer I love this focal length for events when you want a prime that can do almost everything. A 33 is often a bit too tight for group shots with fujifilm even though that lens is also amazing. If you only get one get the 23 if you only do portraits get the 33. They're very similar lenses.

Somehow, my old 23 1.4 seems like old news. this one has a narrower barrel and I didn't like the shape of this new lens but then I used it. The color profile for skin tones and everything is so perfect and vivid. the bokeh seems creamier, which is reminiscent of the sigma art lens I had before I switch to mirrorless in 2016. And that art lens was hardest thing for me to part ways with when I entered the mirrorless world, but Fuji quality always delivers more than what any art lens or EF lens could promise. I am happy with the 23 WR upgrade. It's a go to item in my kit and worth the money.

Improves on the older 23mm f1.4 in every way. The "mk II" 24mm f1.4 LM has faster focusing, weather resistance, extremely sharp rendering form edge to edge, and reduced chromatic aberrations.One of my favorite, and rarely mentioned features, is the 7" minimum focus distance providing macro-like closeups.Dispite the extra weight and larger size I find the new 23 f1.4 LM comfortable on my X-T3 or X-E4.The only minor issue I have is the lens flaring, the lens hood is a must for outdoor use.The new 23 f1.4 has become my new do-it-all lens for every day photography. I highly recommend this lens of your looking for top optical quality and performance.

Compré este objetivo hace como 1-2 meses y no me arrepiento en absoluto, la calidad es excelente incluso disparando a f/1.4, lo cual es algo que me gusta mucho de las focales fijas (y algunos zooms) de la marca, que no decepcionan. Pueden trabajar a 1.4 sin temor a perder calidad o nitidez como pasa con muchas otras marcas por disparar en su diafragma mas abierto, la calidad no deja nada que desear. La velocidad de enfoque es bastante buena y es silencioso en general. Es algo "grande" si lo comparamos con la version f/2, pero por la ganancia de luminosidad lo vale indudablemente, si te gusta tener mas apertura lo vale, si no te importa disparar a 1.4 o a 2, entonces el f/2 sigue siendo por mucho la mejor opción simplemente por el peso y el costo, pero si te interesa esta version 1.4 igualmente sellada como el f/2, en cuanto a calidad no te arrepentirás en absoluto.

Como fotógrafo de bodas, tener la opción de bajar a 1.4 el diafragma es súper importante!! Lo recomiendo al cien, su velocidad de enfoque es tremendo!
