Good quality wire free camera
I have this camera 5 stars because for a wire-free camera system this camera is excellent. The people behind this product really thought this camera design and functions through very well. The reasons are it’s 30fps at 1080p quality. 30fps is hard to get with cameras at 1080p or higher and is one of the most important features to have with flawless video recording, pause, and zoom. The motion sensor captures motion before the lens angle view captures the image which garuntees you a meaningful recording (not a delayed recording where you missed the good part). I believe it works this way because the motion sensor scans at about 120 degree angle and the camera lens is at 100 degrees (but placement does matter, it works this way if moving in a horizontal direction walking across the cameras field of view. It uses the same night vision technology as Arlo Pro 2. It has 7 days free motion recording and has a backup battery with built in storage to work without WiFi or power (I had a live test and it worked as advertised). The app is simple and straight forward and currently have added 5 cameras no problem. A strong WiFi network is important and requires at least 2 mbps upload speed to see your videos quickly enough on the app. It works with Alexa as a skill only, does not to show video content. A skill in Alexa can be used to change settings with the cameras such as turn off notifications or disable motion or list cameras that are connected. One of things I appreciate most is that you can turn off the motion and recording through app without powering off camera. The camera is smart enough to always go in power save mode to conserve battery life as best as it can. Here are the minor imperfections but for me this did not change my 5 star rating because I’ve seen and know how other cameras are out there:- when in powersave it takes an extra few seconds to wake up and record the very first motion vs when already active it’s quicker.- night vision is good enough but think it could been better to see further than 20 feet.- two-way talk is dependent on very strong WiFi. It’s hard to get clear voice communication through the app to camera because the connection breaks up. But this does NOT impact video and audio recording.Overall I like the backstory about This manufacturer and they are part of the Chamberlain group. The design and simplicity in the functions could not have been better so I am very pleased with this product and recommend to others.

Apathetic support, inferior WiFi for the money. Not recommended.
There is plenty to like, please read the other reviews for positive statements. For the money, I found the number and severity of flaws to be unacceptable. Unfortunately I am outside the return period. The cameras are supposed to be outside. Their WiFi reception is so poor you literally have to be on top of the Access Point. If not, you will get slow response, connection drops, and spinning gifs while you wait for the live I,age to come up after a motion alert.August heat in Maryland under the shade can be 90F. One of the cameras began cycling between heat induced shutdown and restart within two weeks. Tend replaced it but I did had to take the product out of service and go without security camera coverage for two weeks. The requirement for 110VAC power is a logistic challenge. The two part power cable at 36 feet is long enough, but a brick wall, exterior wall insulation and routing the cable through the wall present challenges for professional remodelers, never mind DIY guys. For the front, I should have bought the Ring cam. Much better option, with easier installation, power connection and faster real time connection on movement activation.

Affordable and reliable DIY home security option
I have a couple of brands of Wi-Fi security cameras and this, by far, is my favorite.Pros:- Easy and intuitive install, setup, and use. Even my technology-challenged husband was able to easily access and use the camera.- I love the sleek and modern feel of the look. It fits nicely in our home without looking out of place.- The built-in battery allows my camera to continue recording even as I'm moving it to other areas of my home.- Facial recognition, overall image quality, and notifications have been amazing for keeping peace-of-mind while away from my home... especially on my recent trip out of the country that required several individuals to come over to house sit and take care of my pets.- Works well with my various smart home assistants for a more comprehensive smart home experience.- Although I have not used it for this reason yet, I am excited about its weatherproofness as my husband and I have discussed moving the camera to our front door in the future.Cons:- It seems to only work with my 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, but this has proven not to be an issue. This appears to be the case with the majority, if not all, of my smart home products.I would definitely recommend this to friends and family who are looking for an affordable DIY security option!

Very temperamental may want to look at other products
Decent cameras when they're working however if you change your network and put the camera somewhere else and have to read connect to a different network problems lie ahead. Very temperamental one of them I cannot get to work and support will not stand behind the product even though it's only two years old. Could be the reason why these cameras are never in the top 10 cameras when you do a Google search.

wifi
Very good product, easy and fast installation. A bit weak connection to the wifi if we move away from the router, comparing it with a despicable me camera or flexicam that is from the same manufacturer this last one has better wifi coverage,
