It doesn’t have any metal things for the battery compartment or batteries
I got this as a collectors item and to play with for my son. He was excited to see the lights and the sound, but upon opening up the base, we see an empty battery compartment with no metal mechanism, and no batteries in it. Not clear which batteries to use, and we tried some that we had around the house that are “button batteries“, and they do not do the trick. Indeed, the compartment doesn’t seem like it really has any mechanism that would help the batteries to make the car work. It is fine as a pullback toy, but does not fulfill its promise of a light up toy.

Where are the batteries?
It is not clear what batteries to insert. Feels half done but looks nice.

Size ratings 1/28 vs 1/24
In my humble opinion a 1/28 is not very close to the 1/24. Many are halfway to a 1/64, a 1/44. A rating never seen. This car is a 1/34.I build miniature dollhouses which include a1/24 diecast car. A true 1/28 would pass. This car doesn’t come close.
