13 PRO Skin Wrap 3M Film Protective for Sides and Back (Carbon Fiber)

I usually buy dbrand skins, but I didn’t feel like paying their shipping quote for a phone skin. So I took a chance on this BETXELL skin, and glad I did. I ordered it in January 2025 and it has been sitting in a drawer for 5 months. When I finally got around to doing it, the adhesive was still very sticky, but also forgiving. Unlike many screen protectors nowadays, there is no alignment tray/tool for phone skins, so you will need patience and a steady hand. A pair of disposable gloves and a set of tweezers are also helpful. Put on gloves if available, then clean the phone with the included wipes and cloth. Start by aligning the rounded corners of the skin with the corners of the phone, then pull the lip of the skin over the “bottom” of the phone (where the charging port and speaker holes are located). Align the cutouts with the charging port and speaker holes. This may take a few attempts, so if you make a mistake, gently lift the skin and realign. Don’t press hard on the skin until you have perfect alignment. Once you get the “bottom” of the skin aligned, then do the same with the “top” of the skin. You may have to GENTLY stretch the skin to make it fit. Once you have the “top” of the skin aligned with edge near the screen, fold the remaining “tabs” along the corners of the phone and around the power and volume buttons. Tweezers are very helpful getting around the buttons and the camera hump. Use a hair dryer or heat gun to soften the skin over the phone edges. Press out any air bubbles towards the edges. It sounds complicated, but it’s really not. Just take your time and don’t get frustrated. Avoid using the phone for as long as possible, to maximize the time for the adhesive to stick. I applied the skin before going to bed, and didn’t touch my phone until the next morning.

Honestly, the material is good, but the fit isn’t perfect around the sides of the iPhone. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Quality material. It is quite slippery but it feels good and nice. It comes with installation video which is nice. Still, the installation is very hard. I have steady hands and very detail oriented. I’m pretty good and installing these, but this one was very hard. I studied and followed the installation video but had to eventually cut off the edges. The material is precision cut but also stretchy. When installing, the edges get easily stretched when applying. An extra back up would be nice.

I think it looks great and the application process was straight forward (after watching the video). Doing it correctly with a heat gun or hair dryer is highly recommended and makes readjusting extremely forgiving. Slight “flaw” is that you can easily be scuffed. I actually ended up putting a mark on it with my fingernail as I was applying the piece on the camera area. To me this isn’t a big deal and to be expected, but if you were purchasing this specifically for the aesthetics keep in mind that you can easily leave scuff marks that can’t be buffed out.

This skin did exactly what I'd hoped, which was to seal the broken rear glass on my iphone 13 pro. I had used hard plastic protectors, previously, but they would come unstuck fairly quickly because of the uneven surface and crumbling glass. The skin wrap very neatly covers the rear glass and also wraps around the edges of the phone to create an effective seal. The wrap is sufficiently sticky that it stays securely on the phone, but still allowed some adjustment - i.e., not so stick that it is impossible to undo errors. That said, I will say that it takes some patience and care to apply the wrap successfully. I strongly recommend watching the video a couple times first, and definitely use a hair dryer as described.

Thick add brand and texture too

Tried the decal but noticed it did not fit, so while removing it it ripped. While looking at the packaging I noticed that there were several stickers on top of each other. It looks like they just put a new iPhone 13 Pro sticker on top of a iphone 12 decal. No wonder it didn’t fit. I want my money back

Good film. Not hard to install. The phone looks great. Remember it’s a film not a hard cover case. I would’ve love to see the cutting to expose the Apple logo. But it’s all one piece. Looks good though!

Recommended for those like to protect the phone

Not useful and can't even return it, Ruined. It is not a useful sticker

it dose the job but not as precise near the camera as it should be but looks nice and clean also the glue for the sticker on camera is not as strong
