I bought this to try and get on top of our very hard clay soil but both the handle and the hook is very lightweight. Obviously, I wouldn’t want it too heavy as it is to be used one handed but it needs to be heavy enough to make an impact in the soil. I have a huge, heavy pick axe but I need something in between that one and the smaller one.
