This is a great product for the New Nintendo 3DS* with good clarity. You'll hardly know it's there once it's fitted properly. It was pretty easy to install the top glass protector. I messed up the first time but it came off and went back on without incident. I also was lucky and didn't get any dust underneath thanks to the included screen cleaners and the blue dust sticker which you should absolutely use immediately before applying each protector (wear some kind of lint-less gloves so your skin oils don't get underneath the sides of the protector). The bottom plastic film was not as effortless, but I am reasonably satisfied. It took a few tries to get it on without bubbles in the center, as a result I had to peel up the sides. Unlike the glass panel, this has consequences, because it deforms the plastic around the edges and will cause it to stop sticking in that spot. Over time these edges may get worse, as you use the screen. I have a couple of spots on the sides where this happened, but there was no other way to do it because I refuse to have bubbles in the center of the screen. I was going to take off a star for this, but I realized given the price range and the usage scenario (you need a malleable surface to manipulate the resistive touch screen underneath) there aren't any options that would have been as easy as using the plastic film and it's not really the company's fault. To minimize your install difficulty, try only applying one side and slowly rolling the film down across the center towards the other side instead of straight on (remember, have your gloves on and try to only touch the edges). That way you can immediately see any bubbles and only have to back up a few millimeters instead of peeling the whole thing off. Also, they give you 2 of each screen type, which makes this product even more attractive. If you screw up the first time, good news. If you don't, then you have another set for down the road. It's easy to recommend these for the price. *Please note this is for the regular size New Nintendo 3DS. You won't be able to use it on a New Nintendo 3DS XL (the more common system in the United States, as the regular size model is only sold by way of limited special editions inside the U.S.A.)

I bought this with a series of other items (of varying quality) to provide protection to my 20th Anniversary Pokemon New 3DS. I'm most impressed with the packaging. It's very well made, looks nice, makes for fun unboxings. In my experience, tempered glass screen protectors tend to be the best way to, well, protect your screen. This product is no exception. It does it's job very well, includes everything for an easy installation, and you really forget it's there after it's installed. Even better, it comes with TWO of each screen so that's really great, especially given the price. If you make a mistake, you have the chance to fix it immediately, or install on another device. It's worth noting that on this model, the New 3DS (Non-XL), the top screen doesn't sit flush with the bottom. The screen protector makes that aspect like a millimeter worse. Hardly noticeable but for the perfectionist it may be annoying. No screen protector will actually help this problem anyways. All in all, 10/10 but if something comes up the next few months I will update my review.

I would give these protectors a 9/10 with the top being 5/5 and the bottom one being 4/5. The top one is truly glass and fits perfectly. The bottom one is great but the issue is that its a tiny bit too small. I'm assuming it's room for error but when lining it up with the corner, it is hard to not have it be where it should. Other than that, I love them. Only took about 5 minutes to do both. The bottom screen had a few bubbles in it but I just used a card to push them out and now it's bubble-free. The glass protector makes it so the 3ds doesnt close all the way but if you want a glass protector, theres no other choice. Some reviews talked about how they thought the bottom one would be glass. It cannot be glass due to how the touchscreen works. Great product overall for the price. I would highly recommend.

I guess it’s alright. They certainly fit better than others I’ve used. I mostly needed this so that the bottom screen would actually be able to function, the touch sensitivity has totally worn out after years of use and the screen protector just adds a layer of functionality that I lost informally. The top screen feels like it’s made of quality tempered glass. The material that the bottom protector is made of though feels a bit cheap though. it didn’t stick very well. I would say the clarity is just fine when you turn the 3DS on you can see the screen but don’t notice the screen protector unless you’re really squinting at it. All in all I would say it was good deal. Just remember if you don’t like it, or find a better one down the road you can always change it out.

Top screen protector is a bit thick, so the console is not closing to the end, leaving around 0.5 mm hole. Not ruining the experience though and works as a good protection

Diese Schutzfolie schützt den Topscreen des 3DS zuverlässig vor Kratzern, es ist auch eine Folie für den Touchscreen enthalten, klar, natürlich keine Panzerglasfolie da dies ein resistiver Touchscreen ist, dennoch super!

Le pellicole sono di ottima fattura, aderiscono in maniera perfetta e non interferiscono con la visibilità specialmente nell’uso del 3D. Sconsiglio l’uso di una qualsiasi pellicola in vetro perché, nel mio caso, le ho rotte entrambe riponendo a posto la console. Questo a causa dello spessore della pellicola che non permette la corretta chiusura a conchiglia degli schermi. La prima si è rotta nel chiudere la console forse con troppa forza mentre la seconda nel tempo, poco, perché comunque il display punta nella parte della cerniera.

Unlike the new 3DS XL edition, this is more flimsy and took both sets to get protection. A lot more fiddly and poorer quality than the XL version. A little smaller than the actual screens, especially the touch screen so getting alignment is hard. Also prone to bubbles, something that iPhone covers seem to have defeated some time ago...
