Very cool with spinning rotors and lights my boys love it.

This thing is HUGE and full of features. It was the "big" present for our three year old at Christmas this year and he is sure to play with this thing for years to come. Incidentally, the cockpit doors open and you can fit standard action figures in there. I guess I should clarify that this thing doesn't actually fly, but the blades rotate and it has lights and sounds. And the blades have a break away feature for safety, which we loved because our one year old who is attracted to her brother's toys won't lose any fingers. Trust me - we've thoroughly tested this thing. Update: Three years later and still going strong for the 6.5 year old! This is still an all-time favorite. It's big so we stick it in the top shelf of the closet and bring it down upon request. The cockpit fits standard action figures (~6"); Spider-Man and a few army guys have had adventures in there. Our now-three-year-old little sister loves it as much as big brother.

Bought this for my 3 year old (helicopter obsessed) grandson and he loves it! Everything about it is cool and very realistic, I love how the main rotor and tail rotor both turn in unison just like a real copter. The spotlight is bright and can be moved all around. The cockpit doors both open and there is a storage compartment in the back. The only caveat I can mention is the tail rotor, every kid that comes over (regardless of age) wants to stop it from turning and that damages the weak plastic gear that drives it. Now there is a flat spot on the ring gear and the tail rotor now stops all the time and has to be turned to get it going again. Might I suggest using more robust gears there and incorporating a slip-clutch on the driveshaft to the tail rotor? Other than that one issue it is a great toy for a rambunctious little boy!

This thing is built like a tank:). It’s huge, doors open, you can fit GI Joes in the pilot seats, a motorized rope lowers and raises a rescue gurney, lights come on, the rotors spin, (motorized top and back). - it makes sounds, it’s awesome. It’s also fallen down a whole flight of stairs twice now, and you cannot break this thing. They made it with real, normal little boys in mind. For this price, you get a ton of bang for your buck and your kid will love it. Ours hasn’t put his down for one day in over 2 months.

Really a subpar toy. For the price you would think the kids would be able to actually play with it. Yes it spins but it makes a horrible sound when they stop it. Which they will often. The blades stop and break off constantly. The plastic cockpit that is “screwed” down just rips off. And even if all of this is soo obnoxiously large they can’t even pretend play with it.

Just got mine the other day, its awesome, I bought it to put on display in my office, well made, durable with blinking lights, flood light and realistic sound, highly recommended.

So, I didn't read the description when I ordered this. I saw the sheer size of the helo and thought, my boy is going to love this. He opened it on Christmas and was super excited. We took it out of the packaging and started to play with it...the blades turn, the string drops, the darn thing lights up. What a great product! Keep a lot of batteries on hand...if your child plays with this as much as my boy, it'll eat through batteries like the cookie monster eats through cookies.

Firstly, look at the measurements, i did, and even then when it came i knew i didn't comprehend the size by the size of the Amazon box it came in. My son who is 2, struggled to pick it up in the first few weeks of playing with it, but he loves it, plays with it daily. Nice addition of flashing lights, spinning propeller and a working winch.

Se lo regalé a un sobrino y le encantó, es grande y trae varios interruptores para encender luces, uno para bajar y subir la cesta y otro para las hélices, que no giran muy rápido y que en caso de golpe se pliegan para no hacer daño, mientras estuve con el niño llevo bastantes golpes fuertes y se le ve robusto, un buen juguete.
