Great Quality USB-C with a "right" and "wrong" way to plug in.
I needed a USB-C extension cable to extend a USB hub for my Desktop Workstation, so I could have easy access for things like USB pen drives, SD cards, External hard drives etc.- but my USB hub has an 8-inch/20cm cable permanently attached, so I needed a USB-C extension. This extension does the job very well and no issues whatsoever.· Build quality is excellent with no flaws to be found in fit or function.· Works great - I didn't notice any speed issues.· The product has a beautiful appearance, good quality and easy to use.👉 The cable came in a nice box, which you don’t need to keep – but it also had a business card size notice in the box that caught my eye:It mentioned that the USB 2.0 connectors requires specific orientation – So, when you are using USB 2.0 devices (mouse, keyboard etc.) - it matters which way your USB-C cable is plugged in.I did some tests, and can confirm that USB 2.0 devices require a specific connector orientation. I have USB 3.0 and 2.0 pen drives, and if the extension cable is plugged in one way, both types work, but reverse the connector, and only the USB 3.0 drives work.✔ Pros:+ Fast charging / Excellent data transfer speed+ Durable / Sturdy - feels like I could use it as climbing rope+ Braided✖ Cons:- No complaints( I will update this post if any quality issues arise )Overall, this cable is doing exactly what it's supposed to do, and more specifically what I need it to do.Highly recommended!

Great value
As cables go this feels like a very good quality USB-C extension. It holds the cable it is extending with a nice positive connection and so far it's running a fairly intensive number of connections via my docking station without a hitch

Works well for my feed to an outside LED strip.
Build quality is, excellent and works perfectly as a feed to my outside but undercover 5v LED light strip. By using this with USB C to A type adaptors at each end I was able to drill a smaller hole through my house wall. Working well to light up my open porch when dusk falls.

Well made, look great, does the job
Bought two of these as I was having problems with adapters on my MacBook Pro hanging off my desk and putting pressure on the ports. With these extensions the adapters are on a flat surface and not pulling on anything. These look and feel nice and solid, not as much flex in the braided cables as a plastic coated cable but it feels like they're more durable. The colour matches well with the grey of the MacBook too. I can charge power and run to two monitors via adapters without problem.Only thing to watch out for is sometimes the cable plugging into the extension has to be a certain way round for any attached USB 2.0 devices to work properly. There's a small label on the cable explaining this.

really nice usb-c extension cable
I needed this to extend the usb-c connection from my 3d printer to my computer as I changed up my room and moved my computer further away, the length and solid braiding of the cable allowed me to route it under my bed frame without worry of it getting damaged so easily like a rubber sheathed cable would get.I recommend it if you need to extend a usb-c connection.Due to the braiding thickness this cable isn't as flexible as a rubber cable, you won't be able to make a segment bend at 90 degrees, you'll get a arcing bend over a few centimeters and not a direct bend and this is good as it does not compromise the wires inside putting them under strain and at risk of freying/snapping.

It Works
I purchased this to extend the very, very short cable on a USB C Docking Station so I could use my laptop where I wanted it instead of stuck at the back of the desk. Only had a short while but the "armoured" cable and the short plastic extensions on the USB plug look as if they will take a lot of moving around and not break. Am delighted that I can now use my laptop and all the bits plugged into the docking station as I had first intended.

Doesn't work to extend a USB-C hub
Bought this to be able to move my USB-C hub away from my Macbook, just for a cleaner desk.Looks & feels good quality wise, but unfortunately it just can't handle many of the hub inputs at the same time. E.g. HDMI will work to use my external monitor, but then the USB and Ethernet ports stop working. Power pass through worked, but with barely anything else being usable it just doesn't do the job I intended, and I had to remove it.Strangely whenever I plugged ethernet in, not only didn't work - but took down my entire LAN at home too. Not quite sure why or how, but worth noting as it happened every time I tried. Will keep it as a general usbc extension, but just be cautious if you're purchasing for the same use-case as me.
