Great fit. Great price
Great fit. Great price. I normally wear a 9.5 D, but ordered a EE because reviews said these things run slightly narrow. Spot on. The only problem was a small stitch in the right calf that was chaffing. Just had to trim with scissors and no issues. Leather is soft, shaft pattern is very nice, design is great, color is perfect: cowboy but still dressy. Love them. Plus being an Aggie and wearing Tony Lama is the icing on the cake.

Great looking and well made, but a bit too narrow
I love these new boots, but they're too small. Despite the fact that I measured my foot, studied the available sizes, went to the manufacturers website, read all the available information, re-measured my foot. Double-checked the available sizes. Did some more research on boot sizes, and measured my foot again. I then ordered a size bigger than I normally wear... Guess what? The boots are too tight. Just slightly too tight. I like the style, I like the color, I like the comfort and the well constructed build of the boots. Unfortunately, they are too narrow. Despite what appears to be boot standards in sizing, these boots run narrow when compared to the actual fit. If you can, you should try these on in a shoe store before you decide to buy a pair. I wish Tony Lama would say something about their sizes running small compared to accepted US boot sizes. They're not tight in the toe/length, but they are definitely too narrow. I can wear the boots, and I will wear them occasionally, but it's going to take a long time to break them in. With the fit being too narrow, there's no way I can wear these all day.

Tony Lama Men's Saigets Worn Goat 6979 Western Boot,Tan,9 EE US Tony Lama
This is my second set of Tony Lama Boots, and so I know that they fit a bit small. I ordered the 92E size, and let me say, these fit just fine. I am a 9E, so the 2E makes up for the tighter fit. Comfy beyond description. Looks like they are well made, and if they are anything like the first pair I have, then they are built rock solid. Cannot complain about MADE IN THE USA! They look great, they feel great, and best of all, they are priced great. Why spend hundreds more for other brands that charge up the wazoo, when Tony Lama makes such great boots!

Poor quality plastic toe form, covered by thin leather.
Love the fit and style of the boots however am disappointed with the quality of one part of the boot, the toe. I stubbed the toe of the boot against the ground ever so slightly which revealed the plastic form underneath the leather. I am shocked that they cheaped out on the leather on the part of the boot most likely to get damaged. Now the boots have a white streak of plastic visible on the toe. I know they are not work boots, but I should be able to walk around town without ruining them.

STIFFER THAN WHAT I"M USED TO
This is my 5th set of Tony Lama Boots. I've had some pretty exotic ones, ostrich, eel, lizard and even a pair of elephant made over seas. This is the stiffest boot leather I've ever had to deal with. I'm older now so maybe I'm more sensitive but I do believe these are more for work than play. I'm not a working cowboy, I wear western boots because I like the cut, look, feel and there is nothing better to dance in. I'm going to mink oil these and see how that works. I'm hoping the finish wont get too dark. More latter after a good mink oil rub. Almost two years latter the exposure of the plastic toe tips has forced me to buy another set of boots. This set is dumpster bound. I really worked to try to keep these in shape and not exacerbate the toe problem, to no avail. Mink oil to soften the leather and maintain a certain level of water resistance, may not have helped, goat is pretty supple already. My initial rating has been reduced by two stars based on the overall life of the product.

Great Value in a Knock-about Boot
This is a well made boot, intended as an every-day wear. The leather is very tough and has an oil finish, requiring no polish or special care. I have a very high arch and the boots are a bit difficult to get off although the fit is otherwise perfect. But, I have this same issue with all brands of boots, so I can't fault Tony Lama on this point. I would buy this boot again.
