Lactation Consultant recommended
To preface this, I just had my first baby four months ago! I have PCOS and unbeknownst to me, caused milk supply issues. Luckily, I got in touch with an IBCLC that has helped moms like me for 35 years. This goats rue tincture is something she recommended to take. She explained that this herb actually grows milk ducts! I started taking it six times a day and after about a week, I noticed my single spray was multiplied. My best advice for the taste – put water in your mouth and then squeeze the drops into your mouth to help with the taste. Four months later, I am still taking it twice a day, along with single herb moringa. Coupled with the appropriate feeding/pumping routine this stuff really helped me! I have also shared with friends who have found similar success. Now I make enough milk to feed my baby, and I am also helping a friend by providing extra milk to her newborn! Breast-feeding is the most humbling journey, I am so proud to have come so far and couldn’t have done it without this supplement. If you are struggling, I am sending strength and love! It is worth all of the effort, I hope you see improvement. My insurance covered six visits with a Lactation consultant, if you haven’t yet and need help, please seek an IBCLC!❤️

Far better than Fenugreek for milk supply
Breastfeeding supply management can be a pain, but Goat's Rue really helps make sure your supply keeps up with demand. I've used this product for more than 6 months in combination with Fennel capsules 3x per day. The increase in my milk supply was quick and I can count on it to work. If I ever need a milk supply helper in the future, I'll skip all the stuff I tried before (fenugreek, brewer's yeast, dark leafy greens, etc) and go straight to the Goat's Rue. When you take it, time it so that it is at least 15 minutes AFTER drinking any fluids. Use 1 to 2 oz of water to swallow the pills. Wait 15 more minutes, then you can drink whatever/however much you want. Time it so that it is 30 to 45 minutes before a feeding or pumping session and you will notice a distinct difference in supply. Since goat's rue actually helps build up breast tissue, taking it consistently for a while will help build your capacity as well as your supply. The capsules work FAR better than any tinctures. The only thing I've noticed is that the capsules are less effective when I leave them on the counter in the summer time and the weather is hot. When I keep them stored out of the heat, they work much better.

100 percent works
I am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist who gave birth to my 5th child 2 weeks ago. I had a class five postpartum hemorrhage! With my 4 other children I had massive over supply I’m talking 30-40 ounces a day extra. I never had the “omg my milk is in” fullness effect with this child. She’s gaining AMAZING but I wanted to be able to make a staff (I have learned the hard way you never know what could happen and what could separate you when you have multiple children, long story short my 2nd child ended up in ICU when my 3rd was 2 weeks and I was SO happy I had an awesome stash because they wouldn’t let baby even come see us due to Covid) I was only able to get 1.5-2 extra ounces a day started taking this 4 days ago and I am making 8-10 extra! It is well worth the money.

Works, results in days
Recommended by a IBCLC and seen some results with a few days, as I have got 2-3oz more per pumping session, currently on day 7 taking pills. Does not have a taste and capsules are small in size. 60 caps is only a 3 week aupplt, so I thought rather expensive for a month supply. I will probably try to find an alternative brand due to that reasoning. Also, I didn't like the fact that you have to take 4x a day with better effects on empty stomach/1-2oz of water. When breastfeeding, you have to have adequate calories and a large amount of water.

Tastes like instant regret
What you should know: this tastes truly, truly awful. Like trying-to-hold-back-tears awful. I took one dropper-full and I honestly don’t know if I can do it again. I’m not even sure if diluting it with juice, etc would help. I’ve had goats rue tinctures from other brands that are slightly sweetened- now I know why. Wish they at least tried covering up the taste with this one, it’s horrible!

Really great supplements just wish they were more affordable
This product has helped me sooo much! I use it with the Motherlove more milk special blend. I've had supply issues with my third child, my first two I had an over-supply. I did have complications after birth and had to have two emergency surgeries and my baby was in the NICU for 3 weeks which is what caused my low Supply this time. I've tried everything fenugreek, blessed thistle, brewer's yeast, oatmeal, drinking water, pumpin Pals, Ameda nipple stimulators, laVie massager, every product and supplements imaginable. Motherlove is the supplements that have worked the best for me. I just wish they were more affordable. I've tried another brand with almost the same exact ingredients which worked all right& it's half the price but I still feel like the mother love works better. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I have to take double the amount for it to be effective for me. I go through about a bottle a week of each ( I have to use the go goat's Rue and the mother-love Special Blend to get results) and that adds up really quick. I saw an increase of about 1.5oz. To 2oz extra per each pumping session. It adds up to be quite a lot in a day. Its so worth it but being a single mommy of 3 boys its so hard to afford $50-$60 a week ($200 to $240 a month) extra. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It's definitely worth it when I can afford it but unfortunately when I dont take it I go right back down in production. I have to take it daily to keep up the increase I initially got. I love their products & the process of production. Overall I recommend Motherlove products to all my BF mommies and lactation consultants.

One of the only supplements that truly helped increase my milk supply. I have PCOS, and it’s made a noticeable difference every time I’ve used it. It took about a week to see a small change and two weeks to see a significant increase. It’s also saved me every time I’ve had a supply dip I just start it again and within days my supply bounces back. Capsules are easy to swallow, no taste if you keep them intact. It’s a bit pricey, but worth every penny if you’re struggling with supply.

Works great just a little pricy and lasted me a month. I sometimes take without food and I feel fine just make sure you have enough water with it. I’d say my milk supply did increase. A more natural way of doing so.

I started taking goats rue in combination with morninga leaf capsules as recommended by my lactation consultant. They said it will take a several weeks to see an increase of my breast milk but I saw a significant change in a week or two already. I recommend this product to anyone who has difficulties with their breast milk supply.

I had breast reduction when I was 21. I really hoped this would work but did absolutely nothing. Feel like i just gave my daughter a bunch of unnrssary junk by taking it. I bought 5 bottles and took the max dose and even pumped every two hours. My right breast always produced so surgery did not affect my milk supply with right breast and these pills did not increase my volume at all. The left breast only proced 50 ml on average and 4 months with these supplements it stayed at 50ml. I lost a lot of money and sad I gave my baby a bunch of junk

Better than getting the drops (as it tastes awful). This does take many weeks to start working and benefits are subtle but definitely there I’d say. Expensive though so if on a budget, fenugreek provides similar results as an alternative.
