These saved the day!
All the ball finials along my antique brass bed had gotten lost by my kids over the years and has been impossible to find any that fit. I’ve tried ordering, lowes, home depot, and antique lamp stores. These little caps did the trick! They are just deep enough to cover the bolt. All i had to do was put a little putty inside to secure them. Been trying to fix this problem for months! This isnt the intended purpose for this item, but im sure happy with this purchase!!

wood screws included may not work for you
These decorative brass screw covers worked well for a very small project we had. I made a note paper dispenser in high school, it has been in a box for 30 years, my wife thought it would be neat to use it. The brass covers are small, and the screws that fit under the covers were not long enough to go through the 1/2 inch board, but luckily I did have some longer ones on hand. This was a minor hiccup, and the dispenser is hung firmly while looking great!

It takes just a minute to figure out how these work, but when you are done they are beautiful.

Exactly as pictured
Looks awesome. Added charm to exposed screws. I was able to use my own longer, and thicker screws. The screws that were provided were tiny. The cover does screw onto the base and fits perfectly.

Absolutely necessary for retaining thick recliner headrests
I recently bought headrest covers for two favorite chairs, one over 5o years old and upholstered with much thicker leather than you can buy now. Upholstery nails wouldn't hold and pulled out easily. These screw type retainers did the job perfectly.
