[K-Beauty] Neogen Dermalogy White Truffle Serum in Oil Drop w/ 3 Hyaluronic Acid & Niacinamide | Hydrating Face Oil Korean Glass Skin Serum 1.69 fl oz

I have been using this for about two weeks. I bought it on a whim as I have a weakness for skin care products. Chasing that fountain of youth! I am in my 40s with clear skin (minimal to no lines, sagging, or wrinkles), but have rosacea (some pink flushing as well as veins- telangiectasias). My skin used to be dry and flakey, but with concerted effort in repairing my skin barrier, it has become less dry and seems pretty normal these days. My skin care routine is to do a light face wash with a ph balanced hydrating face wash, add a few layers of a hydrating toner, use actives, pat on a basic moisturizer to seal it all in, then pat on a few drops of this NEOGEN DERMOLOGY White Truffle Serum in Oil. I usually use an oil anyway, so it was a matter of swapping out. I went with their recommendation to use after moisturizing. Why not?I like oils, this is not quite an oil. It is kinda watery, gel-like, yet can tell it has some oil. It is rather nice, really. It goes on easily (I apply it to one palm, press the other on it to spread between two hands, then pat gently all over face) and absorbs quickly. Sometimes I do it twice as it is so light weight. When I use it during morning routine, I then apply sunscreen.I have no idea yet what it is doing for my skin as I am already using pretty good stuff, but time will tell. Since I didn't want to jump right in with it, I have started just using it every other night. Sometimes I have used it during morning routine. It mentioned using it twice a day. It has been about two weeks and I have been using it usually once a day.I like the dewy look that nourishing oils provide, and this also gives that dewy, healthy, fresh faced look. I really like that it has no fragrance and that my skin doesn't seem to react negatively to it at all. I like the overall feel of it-- light, cool, fresh. Consistency is light, watery, gel like, yet smooth like oil. Not tacky, sticky or heavy.

I was wondering whether I should leave a review for this, or selfishly keep it to myself, lol! Maybe I should buy cases of this serum incase they have supply issues once everyone discovers how amazing it is!!This instantly became a top favorite for me! I don't have much to compare this to because I don't usually use serums, but I did try a completely different brand a couple of months ago. I really doubt if this serum has an equal anywhere, it's just truly magical stuff and in my opinion the queen of serums!!! A little bit goes a long way. It leaves your skin feeling so soft and glowy, which lasts all day! My skin was already glowing and looking hydrated after the first use, that I honestly could confidently walk out of the house without makeup.In my experience, this could easily become addictive, because it feels so cool and refreshing when you're applying it that it's so tempting to overuse it throughout the day, when you don't actually need to, because it works its magic and leaves your skin feeling amazing all day from just one application.I was surprised it had no scent to it at all. I was hoping for a hint of truffle or something, so was a bit disappointed at first, but once I experienced it on my face I really didn't care. So those that don't like scents, this one is for you!This is advertised as being a serum mixed with oil, but don't be deceived by that. It doesn't leave you with a greasy oily mess on your face. The skin absorbs it very well and you're left with soft hydrated skin. I've been using it for 2 days already and I haven't had a single breakout on my face.I highly recommend this! Amazing stuff!!!TOP TIP: With the exception of my cleanser I always gently press products into my skin rather than smearing them all over my face. I've noticed a big difference by doing this. Your skin absorbs them so much better. The products work as they're supposed to, skin is noticeably hydrated and stays hydrated for longer. It's like blotting a carpet stain with a cloth - you press the cloth into the carpet and it absorbs the liquid, and your skin does the same thing with products. Pressing is more effective than smearing the surface.

If you are like me and have acne prone and dry skin this product is perfect for you. In the past after washing my face and putting on my nightly serums I’d add a moisturizer. However, because I was using cleansers for acne prone skin, because I’m a teen with sensitive and slight acne, the moisturizer never felt like I had enough moisture. After replacing my moisturizer with a few pumps of the white truffle oil I instantly saw changing. The oil is light weight on the skin and leaves a dewy finish. And one of my favorite parts about this product is it comes with a pump. I love knowing that I am doing the same routine and having that pump makes sure I’m conserving enough product. And with only using a few pumps your skin is hydrated and soft. So although it looks like almost 40 bucks for oil drops it is well worth the money because in comparison to a moisturizer this product will last you nearly 5x as long. I love this product so much and will definitely continue to purchase and use it.

When you put this on, it doesn’t feel like much is happening as it pretty much instantly absorbs into the skin. KEEP GOING!! After a few weeks of use I realize that it really helps your other products like moisturizer and eye cream absorb much better and deeper into the skin. I Received this product in a gift bag and slept on it for months. (I’ve been hesitant to try anything new after coming off birth control and dealing with new hormonal acne) Any new product just seemed to spark a breakout. Didn’t use it until I had to move from Los Angeles to London for a few months for work. I decided to try it out because I knew I had to add some extra hydration into my routine with travel & climate change. I’m so glad I did!! My entire 2 month trip I had a total of ONE pimple on my face during my period. Mind you, I was put in HEAVY camera makeup every single day. This helped my skin so much. It evens out my combination dry / oily skin and truly helps my moisturizer break the skin barrier. Also don’t be scared by truffle oil name. There is absolutely zero smell and it’s not oily at all!
