EE PAYG 4G Mobile WiFi 60GB

I wrote a 1 Star review for this earlier, as it came with 24 gb instead of 60. The company rectified this almost immediately, so I am now writing a 5 star review. The device is excellent and the company providing it also provide excellent customer service.

Purchased this device following a house move - my broadband provider completely messed up the transfer of my account, and left me without internet at home for over 10 days. I was skeptical about the ability of a dongle to be a substitute to my usual connection but I was quite (pleasantly) surprised. This little device packs a punch! It was easy to set up. It gives relatively strong and reliable signal. Zoom calls were a bit patchy at times but it completely supported most of my activities (streaming services, computer, iPad, multiple phones). Buying additional data was a bit confusing as I found the instructions are not clear - and you don’t get a confirmation about what plan you’ve purchased - but in the end it worked. Happy with my purchase and even thought I have a new internet provider, I’ll keep the dongle to hand in case of outages etc. I don’t regret buying this at all.

Can’t answer tech support or battery life as I haven’t had a problem with either. We have a lodge in the lakes and the site charges extortionate amounts to use their wifi. With this unit problem solved. Easy to set up. I recommend anybody with a Caravan or Lodge to use this compact unit.👍

Glad I got this, is great for when on holidays, we have had 5 things running from it at one time, it can get a bit j Hot but have it close to a window will sort that problem

Bought gadget to allow me Internet access while working and living in remote area Scotland, device arrived on time in secure package, however it's proving to be bit tricky to set up,,, I'm sure I'll figure it out,,,,,,, eventually

We got this as our landline cables were bought down in a storm and we lost our internet. I needed to submit assignment for university. The EE PAYG 4GEE WiFi Mini 2020 worked perfectly and saved the day. Would certainly recommend .

Bought this when I moved place recently. The area I'm in has fairly mediocre cell signal but I was hot-spotting from my phone and was able to stream and do all the normal stuff. Bought this as I was running out of data and it came with 60GB preloaded. Even though it's on the same network that I normally use I was no longer able to stream fluidly and got a lot of hanging screens when doing ordinary stuff. My conclusion is that modern mobile phones have excellent technology stashed inside them and to get the same quality of connection with a cellular router you have to be ready to invest a bit more. In the end I upgraded my data package until my wired connection was installed. This was a bit of red-herring both in terms of time and money.
