Have a leather backpack from this brand, Rustic Town, and it was amazing! The leather was soft and supple so I wanted to support the brand and pick up a messenger bag. This bag is very nice looking, the color is fantastic, the size is great, and the design is well thought out with one exception - the small front pocket is inaccessible with the larger flap buckled close. The build quality and leather quality though, keeps me from loving this bag - which is a shame, especially for the price. The stitching was questionable when I received it brand new - thought it was just extra untrimmed thread, but it continues to fray and in additional locations. I understand that leather scratches, but the scratches on the back of the case came from using putting it on and removing it from a travel case - exactly what it was designed to be used with! Those scratches all came from just one trip. The buckles crease very badly, just waiting for it to crack and peel. The leather - which is the reason I purchased this - is not soft at all. It is very thick and robust, in fact the bag stands on it's own empty - doesn't need anything to give it body. It is not soft and supple and buttery as I had hoped - which were my descriptors of the leather backpack from this brand that I loved. Bummed, wanted to love this messenger bag.***UPDATED***RUSTIC TOWN sent a replacement bag and it is night and day difference in build quality! There isn't a seam or thread out of place and it's worn in very nicely, new pics attached for comparison - even received a compliment when carrying the replacement! Nicely fits legal size documents. Clips and straps are sturdy. Has a built in laptop pocket. Only down side is the storage area width.

This is such a nice bag. I’m a woman and small and it’s too big on the outside and too small on inside lol for my liking (personal preference ) So I gifted it to my boyfriend (who was googly eyeing it the whole time near me ) 😆 he’s super happy! There’s Enough pockets and space for him. The strap is very comfortable with the padding . I’m in love with the smell of the leather . You can smell it few feet away too which I like . I loved the bag So much , I didn’t think to see what else this company had. What I really wanted was their backpack 😍😍. So I ordered that and a pencil case and journal. Lol .. Beautiful stuff . though the timing was a little off for delivery....it was well worth the wait!!.....it is SO well made!....brass fittings thick and enduring....leather the same....very well done....it will last me a very long time!!....even the strap you would use to slip over a pull behind luggage...is sturdy enough you would have to really exert alot of effort to break it....wonderful leather with very professional look to it!!....

This is my work bag and it is the hardest worker in the room. I basically carry my office with me and I have two bags that I use. This bag Carrie’s my laptop and iPad and smaller things and then I have a roll bag to lug my papers about. This messenger bag gives me enough room for essentials. It’s a beautiful bag. The only thing I would say that is like better is if the leather were treated to protect it from rain. I got caught in a downpour and it left spots on the bag because I couldn’t get it dried right away. After that, I got some soft shoe wax and put it as protection and it got the worst of the damage to fade. Now it just looks like a rugged, well used bag. I took closer pictures of the water damage so you can see how rain affects the leather. Do yourself a favor. Protect your bag before you get caught in the rain. Personally I don’t mind it. I think it adds character to my bag.

Eine wunderschöne Ledertasche. Nicht zu klobig, aber trotzdem groß genug für die Uni. Als Laptoptasche verwende ich sie nicht und ob ein Laptop reinpasst hängt sicher von den Maßen des Gehäuses ab. 15 Zoll Bildschirmdiagonale können ja je nach Hersteller unterschiedlich ausfallen. Mein altes MacBook geht gerade so rein, wahrscheinlich dehnt sich so eine Ledertasche ja auch noch.Der Innenraum der Tasche ist durch Stofffächer gut organisiert, es gibt Reißverschlussfächer vorne und hinten. Der Geruch ist dezent für eine neue Ledertasche und nicht aggressiv. Der Träger macht einen soliden Eindruck und sie trägt sich auch sehr angenehm.Vom Erscheinungsbild her ist sie etwas weniger rotstichig und matter als auf den Abbildungen, gefällt mir aber gut. Sie kommt schon im Used-Look, aber das sieht man ja auf den Abbildungen.Insgesamt gefällt sie mir sehr gut und meine Mitbewohner fanden sie alle ganz toll. Bin sehr froh und dankbar für so einen niedrigen Preis ein so gutes Produkt erhalten zu haben. Nun hoffe ich noch, dass nichts abfärbt, aber für den Fall besorge ich mir irgendein Lederschutzzeug, dann wird das schon gehen. Macht bis jetzt auch nicht den Eindruck. Die Tasche bleibt jedenfalls bei mir.

Love this bag!! So much so o bought one for a friend. Well made and looks great. Have used every day. Hold 15" laptop, note book, wallet and loads more. Fyi it's note padded so laptop is at your own risk.

Overall I am happy with the purchase. It would have been ideal if I can open the front pocket without opening the whole flap. I was expecting the inside to be a bit more spacious. But it can still accommodate my laptop, a notebook or two and sunglasses and a few more small items.
