Sucks so much I would've given it five stars if it was a vacuum cleaner
This device sucks.Recently I made the misfortune of attempting that whole fitness thing, and fell off of a bicycle. When doing so, I sustained a fracture to my right shoulder. Despite what they tell you, exercise can kill.I have almost no use of my right arm, and must keep my right arm in a sling for 23 hours a day. Not an optimal situation. The sling that I received from urgent care is excellent, and I will likely go to see them again soon and snag another one (I'd like to have two since the Velcro is starting to wear on this one, and it is nice to have something to wear while I wash the other one). Since this urgent care is an hour's drive away from my house, and since there is this whole pandemic thing going on, I decided to order from Amazon. After some research I chose this device, and clearly my research was misguided. This device sucks.First of all: the strap that goes around the chest. I will readily admit I am not a small man, I have a big chest. However, the description led me to believe that this device would "fit all." I was clearly misled. The strap that goes around the chest, which from the pictures was a big selling point for me, is about large enough to go around one of my thighs. I cannot imagine an average American adult putting this device on without significant movement of the extremity that it is supposed to immobilize. I'm thankful that I am not a well endowed female. There is no quick release mechanism available for you to undo the chest strap. Your options are to pull it over your head, using your broken extremity, or to step into it and pull it up, again using your broken extremity. Fortunately, being a guy, I had plenty of duct tape and Velcro on hand. I used a Velcro cinch strap to connect the shortened chest strap to the arm pocket. That actually worked. However, the arm pocket. The arm pocket clearly is not designed for an adult in mind. Well, maybe an adult that is overly concerned with protecting his lucky charms. Other than the wee folk, the arm pocket is too short and too shallow to accept most adult arms. The very margin does foldout somewhat to encompass my hand (otherwise my forearm and wrist are hanging out), but this does not stay out for long and it is really uncomfortable when it rolls back. The arm sling itself sucks also. The arm sling, like the chest strap, does not have a quick release mechanism. Seriously, have they ever heard of Velcro? The arm sling consist of a nylon strap, which is as comfortable as the shoulder belt in your grandmother's 1980 Ford Pinto, the one that always digs into the side of your neck when she takes you on a death-defying drive to get ice cream. There is a suggestion of padding to the shoulder sling, but it sucks. It slides around as if they had lubricated it with KY in the factory. Seriously, Velcro.Overall, this product sucks. Yes, the arm pocket is breathable, but considering how little it actually covers and how much is hanging out I would expect it to be breathable. This product would be much better if it was sized appropriately for an adult. Also, it would be much better if they were to utilize Velcro, or a similar generic substitute, to allow for an individual to don and adjust this device with one hand--not too much to ask considering that it is designed to be worn by individuals with an injured arm.Regardless, I will be returning the item.

not for - and it would be good to have a helper
Not for larger people. the sling part is short elbow to wrist, will bind the wrist if worn for any length of time. the belt that is to go around the back is also too short, while it goes around me it is too short to be comfortable. - and it would be good to have a to helper. To get the buckles facing the correct way for threading for the arm which is hurt- they had to be re-threaded.

FRAYED STRAPS ON ARRIVAL
Difficult to adjust by yourself and very difficult to put on by yourself.Out of the package—the ENDS of the strap are a FRAYED mess that gets worse every time you try to use it.I would never buy this product again. The second star was a pity star.
