Both batteries charged right up in my OEM Porter Cable charger, and they fit both the charger and tools exactly the same as OEM batteries. I immediately put them to the test by running them to failure in my Porter Cable recip saw as I cut up a large downed 4-5 inch diameter silver maple branch. As you know, this is the maximum size branch that a recip saw can handle, and Silver Maple is the hardest wood known to man haha! Well, these batteries performed flawlessly and I was avble to get the job done with power to spare. Highly recommend these replacements when your OEM batteries fail as mine did after many years of service.

Since I wrote the original review, the company has been in contact with me numerous times. They went out of their way to send new batteries to me, at their expense, on 2 occasions. One shipment got lost in the Xmas mail crush. This diligence on their part proves they truly care about their reputation and desire to exceed customer expectations.The new batteries arrived well packaged and I have charged them. They both work properly at present, but I haven't had the opportunity to test them under workloads or to determine how long they hold a charge. That won't happen until my heavy spring projects.I felt readers should know that the company cares about their product and customer satisfaction.ORIGINAL review is below:I had already replaced my original battery packs with some directly from Porter Cable. The results were disappointing. These are the same. I have charged them and stored them according to the instructions. They don't hold a charge for long and go flat fairly quickly. My next drill will be a lithium ion.

**** UPDATE**** 06/12/2023Just wanted to give an update on my original review of 2 stars. The company reached out and send me another set of batteries for free. These definitely worked! I'm mainly giving a 5 rating now because of their customer service support.***ORIGINAL REVIEW*** 03/03/2023I don't know what happened but I had to return these batteries as they did not work. When we pluged the charger and place the battery it would iniate the charging and then stopped. The batteries did not come physically brokedn so I really don't know why they did not work. Bought another battery that did charge & confirmed it wasn't our charger causing the issue. Amazon reimbused quick so that was good.

Seem to hold a charge a little longer than the original craftsman battery does.
