Hi The dinner plates are just shy of 27cm And the side plates are 19cm Hope this helps

Q: How is possible that this plates can be put in the dishwasher but not in the microwave?

I have not tried and won’t try to put it in the microwave. I assume that being some sort of gold metal, it will react to the microwaves. using the dish water is safe as it’s only hot water.
