I made this purchase for my teen son who has a concerning inability to protect electronic devices from damage. This phone worked (continues to work) perfectly. There is no evidence it's a renewed device. I'm happy with my purchase

I’m really happy with this Samsung device. The screen is bright and clear, the battery lasts all day, and the performance is smooth for everyday tasks like social media, calls, and videos. The camera takes good photos with nice colors, especially in daylight.The design also looks modern and stylish. For the price, it’s definitely a solid and reliable phone. Highly recommended!

I bought this Samsung phone to use on visible Network and have not been able to get data because it's blocked on this phone and we have done everything humanly possible through visible to get the data on the phone to work and it is locked out so don't buy this phone. It only works when you're hooked up to your home internet network or somebody's hotspot. You can't use your map feature on the phone. You cannot use mobile data at all on this phone

first thing: it doesn't work with straight talk. if you put a straight talk sim inside you get text and call, but nothing else will work without wifi, including maps. it's a good working phone, very nice, good display and good sound. fingerprint was frustrating to set up but once done it works but you can only have up to 3. it heats up when charging, but other than that it's a perfectly decent phone and it's worth your money.
